Thanks that good to know!
Thanks. I've heard nothing but positive thing about him.
Does anyone have the Aoyi Mech Siege Megatron in hand? I’m considering getting it even though I already have the BPF version since the Aoyi Siege Optimus was superior to the BPF variant but I’d love to see some reviews.
I have that ko. Came in dragon form and was super scary to turn into robot mode. I will never transform it again. Heat Death is leagues better in every way though
I'm curious too, but I'm holding off till the exchange rate (maybe, hopefully) improves a bit.
I'm gonna get it for sure though. After the AOYI Optimus turned out so fantastic, there's no way the Megatron can't be worth the price!
Just gotta say... these look kind of awesome.
I love that they started the alphabet with "Alpaca"... though I'm still not sure what crustacean starts with "Y"
are there any U.S. based shops for ordering KO's? Just a little concerned about ordering stuff from over seas (long delays?)
Ah, can't believe I missed your original intent. Doh.
Are the Combiner Wars molds still getting knocked off as we speak? I see an all red Protectobot set, and some crazily coloured Aerialbot and Combaticon sets. If so, then there is still hope!
You didn't know about those sets?
The red Defensor seems to be regarded as inferior in quality to the others, but still okay.
I would love for there to be more future decoes. We'll see. There's no predicting what ko companies will do.
I second that. Also, I am curious if it has "battle damage" on the legs. I have seen some photos with it and some without. I will be quite disappointed if it does, but I will still purchase it.
I am still waiting for my Aoyi Siege Optimus I ordered back at the beginning of March.
I've only took notice recently while looking for fodder for a custom. I completely forgot I'd sold off most of my Hasbro official ones since I already had most of the official Unite Warriors sets!
I don't know of any that are actually US-based. The KO scene just doesn't seem to have much traction in North America (and I seem to recall that some sites that did carry them pulled their stock -- maybe due to C&D requests from Hasbro?).
Shipping delays are rampant these days, but otherwise, I've been very satisfied with my overseas KO buying. I wouldn't worry too much.
Which siege megs is bigger, aoyi or bpf?
I'm still waiting on my bpf Optimus and Megatron I ordered 2 months ago. The wait has been terrible. Never even made it out of China before the airlines shut down.
Oh I got something from him earlier this year, too, and it was great. I wasn't asking as a criticism, y'all, just picked a really weird time to start buying Transformers from China! I just wanted a wider sense of how shipping is going for others.
Asking him how shipping is going for other customers would just be, well, rude.
If it's in scale with their Optimus, then the Aoyi Mech should be bigger than BPF.
They come with these cards. I think they use an Australian name
Thanks for the reply! When you said the latest is 22510. What does that mean? That 22510 want the bullet trains I'm interested in, or 22510 for the Transformers on the site? Is it harder to have toy runs now with the coronavirus or is everything normal now in China?
Want-list current counter... man's got side missions upon side missions. jk
AOYI is the bigger one. It's about Leader / MP sized.
The BPF one is like a very big voyager (or an old 'Ultra' class maybe?).
The BPF is a better match for my CHUG collection. I always wanted a Prime and Megs in exactly those sizes. The size of the AOYI versions is a bit too big for my purposes, but the quailty + the extra engineering makes them pretty amazing for the price.
Cool! I guessed all of the animal names like Ibis, Quail, and Newt... except for the crayfish and the x-ray fish. I've never heard the term "yabby" before, and didn't know an X-Ray Fish was a thing.
But there's a lot of charm in these. It wouldn't have occurred to me that they might use Aussie terms for some of the animals.
Separate names with a comma.
