Well, put in an order through Sirtoys for the red Defensor set and a couple of the regular First-aids. Look forward to them arriving.

My "Red Defensor" arrived today (despite tracking still claims he's in China :D ). First impression - "Wow, a poster!" :D . Literally, instructions (barely readable, but who cares) are printed on A2 sheet with UW Takara Defensor artwork printed on the other side (part of UW Box art) :D .
So, it's CBB molds allright - Hot Spot still has misassembled knees, car front part on Steetwise is on super floppy double hinges and nothing can be pegged into Groove's forearm (peg hole is still too large).
What I noticed so far - plastic quality seems to be more or less the same (compared to "first" version of CBB Defensor - the one with Hasbro limb bots - and CW-colored Superion). Joints are mostly tight enough except Groove's hips - he keeps falling on his back :D . Either weapon pegs are larger or holes in hands are smaller, because everything barely fits (Hotspot is an exception - his guns fit just fine). Groove's head didn't split in half this time, that's an improvement :D . Now the flaws. First Aid's legs do not tab securely in robot mode (especially right side), not much is needed to untab these. Blades' backpack and Streetwise's chest plate do not tab at all in robot modes. Grooves arms do not tab into his chest in motorcycle mode. First Aid, Streetwisa and Groove don't really hold together well in vehicle modes, but I expected that.
All in all, I'm not disappointed. The quality is acceptable, especially that for the price of single voyager we get one voyager and four deluxes. I'm ordering "skittles" Superion and Bruticus asap :) .

Drats, as usual, I forgot to mention few things:
    - for whatever reasons, Hot Spot has Onslaught's shoulders,
    - accessories wise I got exactly the same I got with "original" CBB Defensor (only difference is these are all black, including both Gróve's guns),
    - combined mode is fine in term of joints (seem sturdier and tightier than "original" CBB Defensor except hips which Feel a bit looser),
    - combined mode tends to lean to the back (Hot Spot's hip joints...)

Apologies for typos and misspellings, as usual, I do triple check, think "Ok, everything is correct", click "Post Reply" and then see embarrassing typo (like "Grooves" instead of "Groove's").

Interesting. I wonder how the Protectobots would measure up? I mean, since those are the ones I've handled.

It's not definitive, since what most of us are referring to is the psychological impression of cheapness or flimsiness. And of course, it can depend on where the weight is concentrated. But still... interesting.

Is Sirtoys always that slow to put stuff in the mail? 9 days to process in-stock items. Not the most pleasant experience, especially when you pay for EMS...

    I order semi-frequently from Sirtoys.

If you're shipping by EMS, you'll get your order in roughly 2 weeks. Your tracking will probably not update once in that time frame, just FYI.

So these CW KO's, no Rook or any of the Stunticons yet? Thinking of picking up some pieces for a custom I've got in mind; try and save money.

There are two oversized Stunticons, Rook and Breakdown, released by WeiJiang over two years ago. No others have even been teased and no one else has KO'd the CW Stunticon molds.
