i still primarily want the red onslaught to swap chests with inferno
Oh yeah! No way in hell I'm gonna let the company fade away before I get a Menasor and g2 Superion.
Oh yeah. With Weij Jiang now seemingly moving away from chug ko CBB is all we got left. I hope they bring us much more fan-wishes like their undersized Devastator.
quick question for those that might know, ive been looking into getting the blue mb ko of warbotron vortex to turn into rotorstorm. does the g1 rotorstorm head fit on the body withouth serious modding?
First of all, I'd like to express my endless thanks @SirToys and @KOnceptArt for the Chief Fire. As you may have guessed, I'm amazed. Figure seems to be better than WJ's Hot Spot. Extremely fast shipping (around 5 days) and that extra figure (does SirToys always add something extra into package?), I really didn't deserve it, after all I only paid for shipping . You are awesome, guys.
1. Did anyone get that WJ Computron? It seems to be already released, many sellers have him listed at AliExpress, is it possible for all of them to be preorders ?
2. Any news regarding these "Skittles" CW combiners (Bruticus and Superion)?
2a. Any news regarding BMB KO of PotP Abominus?
Which red emergency-themed set are you talking about? I thought all the CBB figures just replicated existing Hasbro/Takara combiner sets.
I'm hoping for some multi colored jets, hopefully eventually POTP Darkwing mold but I'll take the Skydive mold. I want some easy bases to customize into Seekers
WJ has their own red fire response combiner, Fire King I think is the name. It has nothing to do with CBB. It sounds from the guy's post that he likes the Fire King combiner and wants to assemble a version of it using CBB's CW figures.
i think hes thinking of the saibotank sets that were shown off around the same time as the downscaled devastator, the red emergency set is behind the yellow cbb devastator
Have we seen anything about those sets since then?
i think stock packaged shots popped up on weiboo or some other site like that about a month ago for red onslaughts box set and yellow superions box set but thats about it
I'll pass word to KOncept next time I talk to him. I'm sure Paul will appreciate the kudos. And yeah, he always tosses extra stuff in. He's a great retailer, a real treasure in the community. I hope you support the hell out of him going forward!!
It was already hard enough keeping track of 3P figures and KO figures given there isn't really a consistent agreed upon way of naming the threads (some are better than others). And when the board made the move to remove the name of some of the KO company's from the titles it became even harder to keep track.
Now throwing everything KO related into one mega-thread makes it even more confusing and the thread useless (I feel) as there are now unlimited KO items that are all supposed to be discussed in just one thread.
What's the point?
The mods can do whatever they want - but if it makes things more difficult for their members, I'm not sure why they'd do it - or at least provide some sort of explanation so that we could try to understand.
100% Agree. Is this a cost-issue? I guess I'm just having a hard time even understanding why it's a big deal at all. If I had to guess, does it have something to do with site-sponsors?
Change it back please if possible. Thank you.
I agree. Those figures are perfect for customs and spare/missing limbs. I snagged the V2 Defensor set from sirtoys and used Alpha Bravo & POTP Inferno to throw together a quick Guard City. Just need to get some new faction symbols applied
I'm so confused... Can someone give me the TL;DR version of what's going on here? Posts are kind of out of place, people are complaining, others are apologizing... WTH happened?
Mods merged multiple KO threads into one thread, which has all the KOs in one place and so it is now difficult to keep track of items you were following.
I'd seen this done before here:
Heavy/Scratch: - Generations Rotorstorm from ko wb vortex
It doesn't say what was done to get the head on but it doesn't look like it took much. At least there is someone you can definitely ask about it, though.
If you have access to a 3D printer, you might want to check out this kit:
The head from that isn't as nice as a G1 RT's, though. It's still my plan for when I get a printer soon.
Are there Legends size sets of combiners Aerialbots, Protectobots, Technobots or others? Like the size of War Giant or Hulkie.
My roommate has a printer, I just kind of suck at painting haha. I found a junker rotorstorm cheap enough on eBay so I think I’m going to attempt it.
