Aren’t they supposed to be friends?
I suppose it's like how Marvel once thought it was waaay cooler to make their superheroes fight each other than to have them fight the villains.
Bee is not fighting back, so it's a reference to The Last Knight. They sure love their live action movies
The quick answer is YES. There were large voyager+ size versions of both the Optimus and Starscream Movie '07 protoforms (though they were simplified to share some of their parts. I think the Optimus ends up being more like Starscream, but with the Optimus chest and head.
Do they STILL exist? Hard to say. They were truly disposable Chinatown junk quality. The brittle low-grade plastic was pretty fragile, and the joints were not great. You might be able to find one intact somewhere, but it's probably too poor to get excited over.
I mean, it's been so long now, it doesn't make any sense to expect them to return to their OS CW stuff.
BUT. THEY. SHOULD.
There are actually a few things that WJ sort of dropped prematurely. They stopped their CW oversized stuff before we could get a second combiner, AND they stopped their oversized NewRID stuff before we got any of the Decepticons or other cooler figures (though they did eventually release a Sideswipe and Megatronus much later, so you never know...)
there predaking gives me hope.
What is the quality like on the over-size Universe Galvatron Deluxe Tank toy like ?
I mean... they fact that they are delivering a high-quality oversized product at a great price, on a regular and timely schedule is impressive.
But I'm not sure if it suggests they'll be returning to any of their old abandoned projects ever.
I don't own any versions of this. But all the ones I've seen have looked VERY low-quality, with a lot of awkward simplification in the design.
Can someone just USKO Open and Play Big cannon so we can all stop complaining about a chug Galvatron.
So, and undersized version of an oversized version of TR Galvatron?
Oh, what a tangled web we weave!
If you're somewhere you can order from Shapeways, there are relatively inexpensive and easy to install kits that give TR Galvatron a standard head that can flip down into his chest on a hinge. I'm thrilled with mine after installing it but I can understand if you have other issues with that figure.
personally i ended up just going with a unique toys mania king for my galvatron, suits my needs just fine and hes a damn good galvatron
So, I wanted to share a KO that paul recently sold me, it's enroute atm.
Been after this piece for years.
Well, KBB pulled it off quite exquisitely considering their MP10V was an underscaling of the OS’d MPP10. They even gave us two color variants, and accessories that included a sword and sideswipe jet pack on top of that!!... ahh the memories and hopes that that spawned.
Oohhhlalaaa, imagine if someone did something similar with MP44...
would that make the articulated spike & sparkplug diaclone size?
Can anyone with an MPP10 please measure the width of the arm (On the face with the yellow arrows) for me? I want to know to what percent the MPP10 is larger compared to a normal MP10 to try a to scale a 3D print down and see if it fits.
(This: MPP10 G1 Jetpack by gravewolf)
According to my digital calipers, they're pretty much 28.8mm. The same calipers have MP10 at 23.2mm. So you're looking at ~80.556% scale to go from MPP10 down to MP10, or 124.138% the other way.
*Mention they're "my digital calipers" as they're carbon fibre and, well, digital (down to 10ths). My steel dial calipers aren't on hand right now.
Thanks a ton, I know what I'm printing this weekend!
Glad you found one of your preciousss.
Is that "555" a reference to something? Kamen Rider Faiz (555)? Five Star Stories?
Yer' guess is as good as mine, if not better... it's been a kollector's dream to convince a koking to part with basically a 1-off ko gundam g1 sideswipe in g3 colors.
It's such an anomaly, that I couldn't pass it up.
