Well I hope that means they’re included with the set I ordered. I’m mostly interested in the trailer more than anything.

I’m very skeptical about that rescue combiner. I was interested at first but they kept getting less appealing the more I looked at them, both individually and combined. Maybe if someone else buys them first and does a full review of them I might reconsider.

Those Ultraman figures are something I never knew I needed.

I like those Smart Phone robots they'd make terrific background characters.

I wonder if NBK has been thinking about re-releasing their Devastator in another colour scheme, Usually I'd say do the black & Purple.

But it crossed my mind that there is potential for Shattered Glass Devastator colours (like Defensor) as well as simple a white deco to complement the Toyworld one and also that old G1 KO Devastator that was white.

If they did it in some random colour ; like everyone one being powder blue or red - I would be curious to see how people would react to that - but I also recall many many years ago Matchbox used to make Superkings toy vehicles and one of the things they often did was re-sell their construction vehicles in military green deco.

So what about a Sandy Desert deco Devastator - or and old fashioned 1970's style Forest green = Such things exist after all I'd be amused if they redecorated them in Chinese Army colours - which makes a crazy kinda sense as doesn't China earmark taxes on toy exports for attack Helicopters or something similarly rediculously amusing.

But I think I might have a place in my collection for a crazy or unusual Devastator colourscheme. or failing that just old Fashioned Diaclone colours would be nice too (or similar where each indivdual team member is a distinct colour).

Another way to approach it is to apply the colour schemes of similar Decepticons to the various moulds. Like say Blight or Mudflap for example. Or failing that why not 6 Builder colours.

 

Yaayyy I can't wait to see what horrifying translucent pink recolors Hasbro puts out to celebrate.   Actually with Toys R Us dead, i wonder if they'l bother?

 

Maybe they just want to do Masterpiece Arcee - and then they get jumped on for infering she's a Sow by associating he with the year.
But if they want to use the year as an excuse somehow I won't complain to much if they make new Elita One, Arcee or the like.

Heck make (another) Pink Starscream the comedy potential of that is enormous.

What were the mold changes? I am unfamiliar with the set in general

 

the only changes i see right off the bat are just mold release points. on the original there are smaller little dots around the circle that is inside the square at onslaughts knee's. blast off also has a new body line at the purple and brown mid body split. vortex has a few other little mold changes as well but nothing really major. the others may have subtle changes also but these caught my eye right away.

the only way these details would come into play is if you had to identify an IF bot from the KO.

because no should pay IF prices for a PT set ever. but i am sure that will start happening pretty soon.

 

From these pictures, I'm guessing his alt-mode is a pile of salt.

These toys are old, but they popped up today when i was searching for actual non-garbage stuff. Tiger mode is alright.

But jesus, look at that Bot mode. He's on cyber-crack for sure.



Oh wait, that alt mode is from what Transformers 3 or 4 was it where they just turned into a pile of rubiks cubes that flew through the air like magic.
