It's NY eve here in sunny old 'Straya, so of course I'm sitting out back (literally out back of the house) drinking whisky, reading and mucking about with these here newfangled robits.
Brawn and glass I'm drinking from for scale.

Kinda tired, so probably won't get this bastard combined until tomorrow as it's already dinner time here. But impressed so far with these guys.
I mean the torso dude Silverbolt is slightly bigger than my damn boot size which is measured in clown feet size as far as I know.
Super well packed from the dude bought from on ebay too in a massive box with extra layers on the outside and those plastic corner thingies - for LESS than anyone else selling it on ebay or Ali.

I follow mainly 4-5 threads here and like that the KO thread covers anything/everything KO related - rather than searching for a thread on a toy -that I didn't even know existed.
    So appreciated thank you.

Sometimes, other times they do super tight jointed messes that break/snap if you transformer them repeatedly.
I like their higher end scale stuff, but their lower end stuff is better than the cheap and nasty variety, but best left in one mode or another lest it fall apart territory.

Got a CW look about the bot modes. But no info on the combiner port.
Wait and see until someone has them in hand I guess.

I don't know, I can look it up if you like.
First time purchase or possible second from that seller.

    EDIT:

Yeah, I bought at least one other thing before this from this seller, but damned if I can remember what it was.
Great prices, well packed and arrived faster than most other stuff from China to Oz.

Packaging was comparable to local importer here in OZ who I get my 3P stuff from [well above average with extra care].

On day of purchase got another 10% off total purchase with ebay coupon. But even without that, STILL cheapest current price shipped on ebay for the Aerialbot JJ Combiner.

They appear to be based on CW bots going from the dedicated thread from early in the year. If they didn't change the pegs I am totally down for a full set.

Edit: Well, looking at Paul's gallery they clearly have different pegs so I'm out.

Just been looking at those new Jia Qi figures over on Sir Paul's site.

There's some familiar looking engineering going on...

Well, CW compatible or not I am still interested in getting the five police and even the rescue ambulance and fire truck. Might just get them all. The Jia Qi stuff has been decent in general and these look pretty good. I especially love the fire truck actually. I’m a big fan of the Universe Inferno mold it seems to be based on.

A shattered glass version would be great, taking out a trailer with articulated hands, and the feet of the X2toys kit. By the way, kit that I want to buy and can not find

Don’t understand why they didn’t do a Ginrai out of the gate, that’s the one that is completely sold out. But I guess there are still CW Magnus out there to tinker with.

I have both the PE Ginrai and Core Magnus. I hope they'll release a Ginrai too, my original's smokestack rotation peg broke. It would be also cool if KBB includes the light up head . IMG_20181231_122730.jpg IMG_20181231_122642.jpg

Takara as far as I remember, was on a financial bind the last year or couple of years. Hasbro not so much. Quite the contrary I believe.
It would explain their attempt to change the Mp line, into a supposed high end, collectors market. Though they still have yet to deliver anything of the sort that matches their aspirations, since they started making their moves to that department.

Regarding Predaking: I cannot fathom why the bloody hell, they made the rear cannons, muskets.

When the Predacons arrived on earth they spotted poachers hunting animals. They assumed them to be the Apex hunters... They began to scan their weapons to imitate them.

As they scanned they realized that the poachers were, in fact being stalked themselves. In the ensuing battle the identity of the superior hunters was made very clear and the Predacons took the forms of hunters from the animal kingdom to emulate these skilled hunters. They kept the lesser species weapons as an ironic addition.

Well, I mean, that's the reasoning I came up with for me.

    "Combined" the police bots. :)

    IMG20190101045657_Jia_Qi_Combiner_Police.jpg

Seems like the individually packed figures don't have combiner parts (hands, feet, chest). I picked up a boxed set of the Rescue figures and I can see the combiner head assembly in there so tomorrow will combine it (unless I'm still busy with new years activities).

You'll need to 3D print an adapter piece for the PE set.

Odd that they didn’t come with the combiner parts. Was hoping I could use some existing hands and feet but the fact that the PE ones don’t work is disappointing. I think I’m more interested in their individual bot modes anyway though.

I’m really curious about the Reacue combiner. I was going to order the whole set but after realizing how big they were compared to deluxe figures was reconsidering. Plus the ambulance and motorcycle don’t look as good to me after going through the pics again. Still at least planning to get the Firetruck though.

I don't think this describes ANY of my WJ items. Their low-end items tend to be their oversized Hasbro Deluxe/CW lines, and those are rugged as hell.

    I know, right?? So random.

Except 18th - 19th century hunters would never use a blunderbuss with a flared barrel like that (unless hunting small birds/rodents). That's basically a shotgun for spraying your targets at close range, not something you'd use for big game.
