Does anyone own any of the 2.0 Sunstreaker/Prowl mold hybrids that KOToys has in stock? How are they?

    Cdmw-★

So did you or anyone get any info on the KOs for which CDMW★s are meant? And more specifically whether CDMW-02★ will work with a Vintage (since this silver edition only comes with a ★)

Those look like they would make for a pretty good set of generic Transformers.

Do they all use the Classics Sideswipe/Sunstreaker head?

Yep. There's one that looks like it'd make a great Masterforce Lightfoot (aka Powermaster Getaway).

I haven't seen them in person, but based on the photos on KOTOYS, they all have different heads... some are remolded from Classics Prowl, others are based on Happywell Roadbots. It's worth pointing out that not all of them transform into Lamborghinis... several of them have been resculpted to resemble other cars such as Mustangs and (I think) Audis.

I haven't bought any because I'm still pretty sceptical about the actual quality of the figures themselves. I'd love the hear some first-hand reviews from someone.

Just got a G1 KO Devastator. The well made one. Man this thing is a thing of beauty! I kinda feel bad calling it a KO..

I ordered a G1 KO Devastator from KOtoys a couple months ago, and got screwed. What other places can you get those good KO's from?

I always sort of wanted the Devastator set that had each one in a different color, like black, red, blue, yellow, etc. Was supposed to be high quality too. Maybe someday. Not a high priority.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this but is that knock-off cliffjumper upgrade kit still available?

Apologies in advance if I offended anyone by asking

The original Classics Cliffjumper upgrade kit is now selling for $$$. That was Fansproject's first product, and they have no intention of reissuing it.

But, some other parties have copied the Cliffjumper kit, and from what I heard they try selling these copies as the legit ones made by Fansproject.

But if it's made in the same factory to the same spec to the same QA, is that not correct?

I don't have firsthand knowledge but I got the impression the "remake" of the Cliffy kit is more of a homemade thing. Word is that it's far inferior in quality.

I have that one... it was widely available in dollar stores around here for a few years... a buck for each Constructicon. The quality IS pretty good by KO standards, though not to be compared to the real thing of course. The plastic is lower quality, but the molding is crisp and the assembly is solid. Too bad they're not still around... in retrospect, they were a great buy.

Just curious, I never bought from them, but when did you make the order? And when was your last email sent?

I bought the "Super Robot Action Series" KO ROTF Rollbar!! Cute little guy! ^^ I think, from seeing the pics of the original toy in Seibertron, that other the small color differences, the only real difference is the lack of feet articulation. Other than that is a pefect KO, even good quality plastic and no loose joints. ^^

I ordered it the first week of April, and last emailed them... just last week. There are many people on this forum that have nothing but good things to say about them, And I have dealt with them previously to my satisfaction, so... I don't know what happened. I hope it's unintentional. But, I've waited long enough, and don't really know where else to look for good ko's. So I thought I'd ask where else they might be available from.

It's crap. I made a pictorial review a while back on the feedback forum.
