They are great toys, well designed yadda yadda yadda, but their bodies are super deformed, so they are just "fugly" to me. Shame, as I was really keen on getting their Omega until I saw the final thing.
As said, I truly HATE all things Chibi, it's not a choice, it's like you know if someone vomits next to you and you look at it, you don't feel good. That's what it's like when I see most Chibi toys, no matter what they are of who made them etc.

Well I'm not sure I would go that far but I also don't get super deformed at all. Makes no sense to me.

??? I was agreeing with you - just not all that into the vomit part. Chibi / SD - I don't get it.

I generally agree when it comes to chino stuff, unless it serves a purpose like perfect effects chibi deathstalker which doubles as a headmaster upgrade kit for several scorponoks

I'm cool with chibi / "super-deformed" stuff. I don't mind cartoony versions of my favourite characters. There's a charm there, and I find that they're sometimes sort of neat novelties... but I couldn't bring myself to drop serious 3rd party cash on them.

I was thinking the same. Either that or for the voyager KO. Looking at the pics, probably that. Also most likely why MP is too big.

I never get tired of this mold, a scaled up, modified version of it definitely has my attention. If they crank one of these in black, I'll be all over it.
This is really tempting, I'm thinking one of these painted black with a silver patina would look really nice.

Can't wait to see what 2017 has for the KO community. I wonder what Wei Jiang and others will do this year

It's like eBay but with his own protection and without PayPal. You give them time to check your payment, give them time to process and then wait a month for your OS KO Hot Rod. In your orders you could extend their time , see their progress or open a dispute wich gives a refund although normally you have your item within 30 days. It's overall a good place to shop when sirtoys etc. don't have it in stock so it comes down do you want him or not?

That seller has over 7000 positive feedback, 98%+ are positive. I think you are pretty safe.

I checked his recent negative feedback, and almost all of it is in Russian, complaining they never got the package or the package was damaged. That might be a sign of the post office in Russia being crap more than this store screwing up!

Oh believe me, those cheap plastic tanks that came with the soldiers are temporary until I can find some better quality ones, there so ridiculously small, & I am picky about scale. & I also plan on painting some detail on the soldiers as well.

& no one answered about the sticker sheet. Did the original Optimus have a missing sticker, #10? I also noticed how the red plastic arms are a different shade of red than from the painted diecast metal parts of the cab. Is this also the case with an original G1 Optimus?

& finally, the legs in the picture of Optimus on the box are purple instead of blue. Is it like that on a real Optimus box?

I am just concerned with the quality, is it fair to assume it is okay-not great? I just dont want it falling apart on me
