I think that's a slightly resculpted Fansproject Severo throne.

I don't know why you're YELLING. Seems awfully defensive. And what's your point? Did I say anything about the add-on kit for Megatron? Pretty sure I was talking about leader-class figures, not leader-class figures WEARING ELEVATOR SHOES so they can pretend to be MP figures. :p

Leader Megs is just shy of 23cm, if you want to get technical, so 24.5 cm is a hefty chunk taller... which also means taller than other Leader figures like Jetfire, Magnus, Sixshot, Black Shadow, etc... guys I wouldn't want my Optimus to tower over.

So my point stands... this OS Classics Optimus looks great, but he seems to be aspiring to MP size and competing with a rather saturated market, which means he won't fit in with recent Leader Class figures (and doesn't provide an alternative to Hasbro's PM Prime as an adversary for Leader Megs.) Which means, as much as I'd be tempted to buy it, I'm not sure he actually fills any particular hole in my collection. :/

If I can get him for under $50, at least that would be a great price for something like this, so my deal-hunter psychology might overrule any collecting necessity. :)

    It's a Chibi Metroplex by a 3P.
They also did Black Zarak, Omega and something else?

Nice toys, but I hate Chibi anything, if their heads were in proportion to their bodies I would be all over them.

Whatever it is, it is meant to go with that Grimlock OS KO (pictured), it's from the same company

Well, I mean master made went back and gave their omega and metroplex heads that were more proportional with their bodies, so....

90%...... hell 99% of boxed G1 Primes on ebay are those replicas. High quality, but people should know what they are buying. They are pretty well known. Most common is the white one, black one and original (normal) on ebay, and sometimes you get the same toy in variant colors that are KO's of various anniversary official releases, but not as often, and usually cost more.

They are great toys, well designed yadda yadda yadda, but their bodies are super deformed, so they are just "fugly" to me. Shame, as I was really keen on getting their Omega until I saw the final thing.
As said, I truly HATE all things Chibi, it's not a choice, it's like you know if someone vomits next to you and you look at it, you don't feel good. That's what it's like when I see most Chibi toys, no matter what they are of who made them etc.

Well I'm not sure I would go that far but I also don't get super deformed at all. Makes no sense to me.

??? I was agreeing with you - just not all that into the vomit part. Chibi / SD - I don't get it.

I generally agree when it comes to chino stuff, unless it serves a purpose like perfect effects chibi deathstalker which doubles as a headmaster upgrade kit for several scorponoks

I'm cool with chibi / "super-deformed" stuff. I don't mind cartoony versions of my favourite characters. There's a charm there, and I find that they're sometimes sort of neat novelties... but I couldn't bring myself to drop serious 3rd party cash on them.

I was thinking the same. Either that or for the voyager KO. Looking at the pics, probably that. Also most likely why MP is too big.

I never get tired of this mold, a scaled up, modified version of it definitely has my attention. If they crank one of these in black, I'll be all over it.
This is really tempting, I'm thinking one of these painted black with a silver patina would look really nice.

Can't wait to see what 2017 has for the KO community. I wonder what Wei Jiang and others will do this year
