But they are not based on Masterpieces, no. The picture in the auction of MP-style Coneheads is an error. These are 3rd party figures made by iGear. They're smaller than MP Seekers (about the size of a large Voyager class figure) and are much more stylized (based on the IDW comics seeker design). They're quite nicely made, and they transform into F-22-inspired jets rather than F-15 jets like the G1 originals (and MP figures).

Did you ever get your order from Zhanfulon? I just bought a bb7 skywarp from them, but didn't do my due dilligence before clicking. Chose them as they were supplying reprolabels.

The only decent CW Combiner KO so far is an OS Defensor from Wei Jiang.

 

Which has a Vortex mold, so we are a recolor away from one.

 

That must be what I was thinking of. But they only did two limb molds, right? So you have two of the helicopter mold and two rook molds for limbs.

Not that either one of those guys would get re-used for Bruticus... but I'm hoping that it shows Weijiang is committed to delivering some more oversized CW figures. The Protectobot set was awesome... I'd love to see a Bruticus (or any of the others).

Bruticus is my favorite of the CW sets so I'd be all in on an OS set.

Streetwise and First Aid in overscale are on their way in early 2017.
I certainly hope they make some more - but then I also hoped for some repaints of the RID overscale (decent mould version not the heavily simplified versions) and that barely happened They just added some Black to Bee and changed the colour of his his windows.

So repainted Grimlock in G1 Colours, Patrol Strongarm, Drift & Optimus in Blue and Bumblebee in black are like obvious as heck - but not to Wei Jiang supposedly. I suppose any dreams of getting overscale RID Decepticons is a foolish one - 'shame'.

I think there is at least some chance of some more overscale Generations combining or not as KO makers seem to share that same affection for Combiners that 3rd parties have.

24.5cm isn't just leader-sized... it's bigger. 9.5 inches. MP size!

Maybe too big. There are so many competitors for the MP Optimus size class... if he were a bit shorter, he'd probably look good with Hasbro Leader Megatron though. Oh well. I wonder what the price range will be?
