Well, I broke into my piggy bank and found enough money for the Hiya MUTO, just in time for it to sell out at another vendor. Not being able to get it at BBTS where I'm already preordering 2014 Godzilla honestly ruins it even if I do find another place to buy it from (like EE). So I don't know. Do I try for Green Mothra, or do I hold out to see if Kong stays in stock until after Black Friday in November?

The Super7 Heat Ray is suuuuuper sold out so that’s pretty neat to know it’s still around some places.

Perhaps those spine gaps need some work.

I remember that interview from last year. So vague and with zero updates didn’t really keep my interest. It has a reaaaaal quiet dedicated thread, with the logo for the line.

Am I going crazy or has Gundamit just deleted virtually all Hiya Toys Monsterverse listings from their website, even pre-orders? What's up with that? (took this screenshot seconds ago, no sign of Monsterverse figures besides that one Skull Island Kong)

I was planning to purchase that 1991 Ghidorah from that website. I assumed they would eventually put it up there, considering they had listed (I think) every single Hiya Toys figure thus far. I guess that's not happening now. Next best deal for me is BBTS. I don't mind buying from them, but I just prefer Gundamit's packaging and I typically don't have to pay any import tax when buying from them.

What I find particularly odd about this: I've checked similar sites like EE, even a few local sellers, and they still have these figures up for grabs. So I'm guessing this is specific to Gundamit but I'm just wondering "why?" I suppose I could try and ask them directly if I'm THAT curious. Which I am.

Sometimes they do that, last time that I noticed was with evolved Godzilla. Don't worry about it.

I haven't seen ANY of the Super7 figures in stores. How are they as a whole?

They're exactly toys meant for children but with an adult price. :lol

In my personal opinion and my apologies if I bother someone: I'm zero interested in expensive figures with an "old toy" aesthetic. Poor articulation and details for what they offer. You can check Hiya, Xplus or even some Neca are awesome for the price, the Showa neca are beautiful.

I have the first wave of Godzilla and rose Biollante and the thirsty for blood repaint of Godzilla. The repaint is definitely painted well and I think it looks terrific. The first wave are very basic paint and does give that shiny toy like feel but I like them enough. I never would expect a rose Biollante figure from any other line. I'm happy enough with them.

    Depends on which line.

    Seems this is about ReAction:
    Seems this is about Ultimates:
I like each for different reasons, but Ultimates aims for NECA<SHMA<HIYA levels of screen accuracy and falls around NECA. Good, but not the best. Still, they are far more affordable than SHMA/HIYA.

ReAction is kitsch. Fun to see some characters in the line, especially those which almost look screen accurate despite that not being the goal, but they are just for fun. Overpriced by twice what they should be, but fun.

the ReActions go great as fill ins for the ones Mezco has not done yet in the 5points line. Still wanting to know what the next set is going to be.
