Was gonna ask if he can transform into his Armed-to-the-teeth Assault Mode, but from the looks of the figure, I doubt it.
Been wanting an updated Iron Giant toy for a decade now, and it sounds like this one is being made by someone whose heart is in the right place to make a truly great figure. This will find it's way into my home for sure.
I've been dying to add an Iron Giant to my collection, however I have a feeling this is going to be expensive.
Apparently this is being made to order based on preorders so no chance of it selling out. Mondo says it'll be at SDCC this weekend so look forward to lots more photos, including his 'war' mode.
Well bugger all, this was due September but has been delayed until February-March. That's quite a huge delay, I wonder what went wrong?
You are correct, however... a). there were no toys like this. This is like, Masterpiece Iron Giant. b). the toy line didn't sell too well and the figures were gimmicky, IIRC
As someone who's pre-ordered one, I can say they're pretty open on social media and update blogs about this. They didn't expect the number of orders they received, and they're pretty much striving for perfection. I mean, I'd have loved it to come out on time, but I've paid a fairly large sum of money. so if they need more time to make it perfect by all means go for it.
