It is, but I don't think you ever see it transform to robot mode.

That's been answered repeatedly. Yes, but only in vehicle form.

I have no proof on this, but IMO, that scene had Spielberg all over it. In fact, Bumblebee and Sam's bond in the first movie screams Spielberg to me. Spielberg seemed to have just slapped his name on ROTF and it sounds like the same thing here with DOTM (haven't seen it yet).

The lack of bonds between the transformers themselves and the lack of bonds with the humans they protect has always been my biggest problem with the Bay films. Bay just can't do characters. He can do basic character types and stereotypes.

anyone else hope that we get 50 minutes of Transformer dialogue and only one battle, possibly an organized, complex, (40 minute + ) climax battle against Unicron in TF4?

Why don't you just hope for Peter Cullen to land in front of your house on a robotic eagle while your at it.

I would have to agree. Plus, the first film has Spielberg on board before Bay, and I would like to think a good amount of the story had been fleshed out before Bay was even picked (Spielberg was the one who emphasized 'boy & his car' after all). Since then, the movie series has been very much Bay's child, and it seems as if he has the entirety of the creative control; thus, more room for his style and antics to creep in, even where they aren't needed or wanted.

Quick question for those who have seen the movie - is there any Transformer character that you saw in the movie that you now want to get the toy version of because of the movie?

Of course not. If there was the movie would have been rated R. Its just simple innuendo they probably won't notice.

Just got back from preview. I thought the first movie was so-so and I really hated ROTF. I really don't like the direction and designs in which Bay has taken the franchise....

but ya know what? I really enjoyed DOTM.

It still has massive problems in terms of a Transformers movie, being that the majority of robots are just a fancy light show that have no real character. The cool bots hardly share any dialogue at all yet the not so cool ones (mostly the comic relief characters) spout out all manner of shit.

There are some real stumpers in terms of logic too. Characters do stuff and I really am at a loss to find a reason why. Also Ironhides death bugged me. There was no remorse shown at all. The autobots just didn't give a shit.... not like when Jazz got whacked.

But all this aside it was still really enjoyable. Folks who do like the Bayverse are certainly in for a treat.

Just seen it, awesome movie as always. And the twins are in it, when they drive into the hangar at NEST. They're still there at the end of the Line of Autobots entering the hangar LOL

I'll have my 25.000 dollars now Mister Bay, thank you
