Note the difference between Hasbro Generations Selects and Takara Generations Selects, and much of that price complaint disappears.

the seacons prices are in line with takara tomy lg-ex releases (which the takara tomy generations selects have more in common with the lg-ex line than with hasbro generations selects)

Will TFSource get the rest of the Seacons? I'd rather have them all for one place, also I don't have to pay anything until they are in stock and I can have them shipped all at once.

Same. I'm waiting on BBTS though. If BBTS doesn't put it up by Pulse's preorder cutoff date 9/28, I'll just order from Pulse on 9/27. :p

The Refraktor 3-pack arrived a short time ago, with no notification that it was on the way and the order still is in unfulfilled status. Odd, but it came pretty quickly considering it was released on a Sunday and Monday was a holiday. I haven't has a chance to fool around with yet, but it looks very cool. Even the packaging is awesome - the best I've seen out of the Siege line so far.

Wow that's super fast. Mine says next Tuesday. I like Pulse, but my Premium is gone after this year.

Yes because they are not a sponsor of the site. Once the other online stores get it I guess it is front page news it seems.

I decided to cancel my MP-19+ pre-order. It's showing available to add to cart if anyone wants it. (Pretty sure it showed sold out before.)

I worried that the hand/foot pegs will be stressed as easily as Rippersnapper. I’ve had two different rippersnappers have the peg connector crack when I formed Abominus.

It’s a much different and bigger pain to have that happen to a figure twice as expensive!

So far I see Hasbro pulse as a wonderful upgrade over the old HTS site. The easy access to all the Takara Tomy mall exclusives and MP releases is a very long overdue. Not to mention the ability to pre-order future waves of figures.

When it comes to the whole Pulse Premium membership, it is nice for the free shipping, but that's all I honestly expected out of it in the first year and especially for free. The early access to SDCC released items was a nice bonus, but if they wanted to take it one step further, they would allow premium members to pre-order items ahead of SDCC next year, even if it's just for one day.

Over time I see the premium membership being worth more and more, esp for people attending SDCC or other events with a huge Hasbro presence.

So far in the first year Premium members have gotten the following:
    • Free shipping on all orders
    • Ability to reserve a time slot to purchase items at SDCC
    • Ability to reserve ticket to attend Hasbro's special after hours party at SDCC
    • Early access to SDCC items on the HP website
    • Wasn't there a SW related thing that Hasbro pulse offered premium members?
Not too bad for something that was given away for free. Assuming that's all we get next year as well, is that worth $50? For me probably not, but for others it just might be.

Personally, I think the "early access to SDCC items" is diminished by the fact that it was only a set amount, separate from the "main release" (the latter of which now has both non-Premium folks and Premium folks who didn't get in before other Premium folks). If early access is a benefit, there's no need to save a set for non-Premium members. Either it's a benefit of Premium membership or it isn't.

I think the way they do it now is best, because imagine the shitstorm if non premium members never got a chance at those exclusives

I'm guessing you loved the red card requirement for Red Wing too.
