A: it was in response to someone claiming deluxes would be $30 next year
and
B: I even said that if they spread the cost across all brands regardless of where manufacturing occurs then it'll likely be a negligible increase overall. hell unless you buy from pulse, amazon or brick and mortar you already pay higher prices anyway since stores like bbts charge $22 for a deluxe instead of $20

 

I wasn't arguing with you whatsoever, just expanding on your thoughts for those that don't understand this whole situation.

My Refraktor set pre-order hasn't shipped either, despite being charged, and despite the fact it it seems to be currently in stock on Pulse. Hopefully soon, though. I this is one I've eagerly been looking forward to.

I got a notification from FedEx that I have a 2 lb package coming from Hasbro Pulse. Haven't got a thing from Pulse themselves though

 

I didn't have any desire to get the MP10G Prime, but it still amazes me it sold out within 2 minutes...the other items I was on the fence about and they were in stock last time I checked. So between the free shipping and added day to get items if a majority of their memberships drop and just fight it out on avg person day sale, may be worth keeping Pulse Premium. They did only give us 1 $5 off coupon though all year, though. At least with Prime I get access to all their movies, tv shows, and music library as a bonus. Sigh...decisions. That $50 may get me an extra leader class figure.

 

I think everything should be pulled from China imo... And yes I was able to get one! As someone who hasn't been keeping up lately I was so happy that I was able to snag one. Was creating my pulse account and then saw that mp10 was showing in stock, I clicked and purchased right away!!

 

Oh I doubt we'll ever see a decrease in price ever. This is the new norm for all companies, try to gouge out as much as they can and see what the market will bear. It's sad. :S

The reasons why those stores charge what they do is because Hasbro keeps upping the price to them, carrying Transformers is not making you money, the margin on them thanks to Hasbro being greedy is very very slim.

 

thats not really a new norm, thats pretty much been the norm since the dawn of consumer goods

no, those stores charge more because they are specialty stores that don't diversify the products they sell, otherwise walmart, target and amazon would all be more expensive than pulse as well. you pay a premium for shopping somewhere that is just a toy store

 

I must be the only one who thinks that Hasbro Pulse actually got better since it first came out.

 

I think Pulse, and Pulse Premium are amazing.

 

One of the things I like is that they're actually trying to implement some of the things fans wanted. I mean, sometimes it ends up clunky but the website did actually not explode and releasing each SDCC brand on different dates probably helped with that. There's still some improvements to be made but it's getting better. I do wish Premium offered a little bit more but I figure that'll come with time.

My experiences with Pulse have been quite good. So far, I haven't seen anything to make me want Premium though. All my orders from them have been enough to get free shipping anyway, and the things I've seen them give you the chance to buy early are ones I haven't been interested in. For the price, they're going to need to add some addition benefits to make it worth my while.

 

Good point, I forgot that they made getting the Takara Tomy stuff easier and cheaper (with Amazon.jp being the only exception in some, but not all, occasions).

That's fair. I figured it'd take them a bit to actually start offering better incentives like coupons, a reward system, more early access or exclusive items (which will for sure piss people off), or even just having something first. We'll see in time.
