Usually for me, it's like one to three days before it ships, I get charged.

 

They place an authorization on your account for the full amount. This authorization usually goes away after a couple days. They'll actually charge you a day or two before the order ships.

Also, drink.

This is a $235 combiner. Pretty much double what we have paid in the past. As much as I want this set, Siege is getting all my money right now (i'm Looking at you Omega Supreme...) . I'm going to have to pass for now and hope there may be sales.

As much as I'd like the Seacons that's too rich for my blood. Also out.

I'm having a real hard time wrapping my head around justifying Turtler for $60 alone.

 

Since I paid $500 to get Thunder Mayhem, $235 for a combiner who is being released in pieces (making it more affordable long term) doesn't seem that horrible to me. It's not ideal ($100 would have been an amazing price) but it's something I can live with, especially considering the extensive retoolings. Plus, you just know that a lot of people will only jump on the bandwagon when the last of the limbs get released and by then, chances are that the first two won't be available. That or they'll be discounted all to hell. But I can't recall a Takara combiner lowering significantly in price since release, only the Hasbro ones (but correct me if I'm wrong).

 

I was thinking the same thing, but for me I just let go of past pricing and just accept it. I am a happier collector because of it, but that's just me.  

But yeah, but when Takara Legends was still a thing, LG-Legends Voyagers were 49.99 and deluxes were 39.99... Seacons are technically Takara Tomy Mall exclusives, or is being treated as such.

So the first Seacons will run you $95 on 1/25/2020... Then I'm guessing the remaining four will come out in pairs like in say, April and June at $70 a pop. So it's split up in three easy payments and you have time to budget.  

Finally, $235 in the bigger picture of most people's collecting habits is nothing really. You already blew $80 on Jetfire, and those deluxes add up, did you really need those 3x Refraktors and 2x Brunts, and why do you keep buying repaints? And I know you are all working on ROTF Devastator.
