It doesn't look like the "Comic2015" coupon code works with some of the exclusives? It doesn't work for Devy at least.

Codes don't work with exclusives, outside of something weird.

They don't work with SDCC exclusives. Other exlcusives, like the platinum Transformers sets do take the coupon code.

HTS is stealing some extra sales tax, huh? The charges don't add up... They're supposed to charge your State's tax (no local taxes), but I'm seeing .45% higher. (I'm still confused about why HTS collects sales tax in every State, too).

Other than that, I'm shocked by how smoothly the site is running. Slow? Yes. But now that the Magic, Doc Strange, and SW trooper are sold out, it's almost like normal! :lol  Kudos to HTS's tech team! :thumb

But seriously, what's with the incorrect sales tax, HTS?! :mad

According to my conformation email for Devy , they are taxing the product and the shipping at my local sales tax rate, which equals the total on my receipt.

Yeah I really doubt they send out 50 different payments a month to the corresponding state governments. I've been wanting to email them about it at some point.

It's running smoothly NOW. It was glitchy as all hell and crashed a multitude of times in the beginning.

After cursing a bluestreak at the site, my laptop and my phone, I finally claimed my Combiner Hunters Set.

Aw man, that means Hasbro is going to start charging $20 for TF Legions. I mean, they actually tranform and stuff, it's got to be worth double the micro-ant-man.

My local tax is around 9.75%! So the numbers don't add up at all. They are supposed to only charge the STATE tax, not local municipalities' tax. Sorry, bro - your math is teh error! :p
I doubt anyone is even keeping them. After the SDCC horror stories of shoving and punching, these have got to be the year's best scalping item. :rolleyes2  I think the economy is at a really bad point, though, when we see toys as investment opportunities. Yikes.
Yeah, Hasbro is cutting corners by making toys smaller and keeping prices up. A couple of years ago, these tiny toys would be half or less. They were made for dollar stores. Now, they're official movie product? It's gonna bite them on the @$$ sooner or later. Your customers notice when you cheap out and put less on the plate - the food industry has been struggling with this for years. Hasbro hasn't hit the magical formula, but they are harming their brands with these tiny shenanigans. IMO.

    But I digress. :p
I did notice that GI Joe jet set is $50 more than the 50th Anniversary set with the same toys! :lol  Am I the only one who thinks that's too much for an alternate paint job??

That is a bit of an upcharge, but the SDCC version also has different figures:

SDCC has Steeler, Grunt, A.V.A.C. and Alley Viper Officer
Retail has Ace, Sightline, & 2 H.I.S.S. Drivers

While it's exciting to get up and still see all the Transformers stuff still available, the figures are super boring this year. More for you guys.

Anyone have those single-use 15% off coupon codes? Seems like HTS isn't doing free shipping on regular items.
