I'm giving them a few hours to get to room temperature because it's cold as f*ck out there, and I want the boys to be nice and warm before I handle them.

I probably won't even try transforming them as my hand issues will prevent me from fully enjoying them, but I'll more than likely be posing the hell out of them all afternoon.  

 

My set was scheduled to arrive Tuesday, but instead it showed up early yesterday! Yay!

On the chrome, there's only a tiny imperfect on my Victory Saber but nothing else. My Fire's legs/cab section won't peg together firmly for vehicle mode. The stickers for Victory Leo's wings surprised me and feel lazy, and I managed to tear one while getting it off the sheet (I buy plenty of Toyhax labels and am not hamfisted when applying labels).

Still, early impressions are this is nice. Definitely feels more "retail+" than "uber expensive" in the way Haslab Sentinel or even Galactus do, but it's not a criticism either. This is MUCH, much more fun to handle than MP Star Saber. I like it more than Planet X Star Saber. Part of me wishes I could've sprung for a second set so I can have individual versions of each on the shelf, so I may actually buy that Planet X Victory Leo after all just to have a solo VL on my shelf.

 

Heeey, FedEx managed to knock on my door today!   It was my normal delivery guy and he apologized saying that he was off yesterday and they had some new person doing his route. It's cool. Got my figure and all so I'm good. Speaking of the figure looks like I won the QC lottery. No issues on my Victory Leo or Star Saber in any case. Holi and Fire got chucked into the extras bin without even being messed with but in my experience, the Micromaster molds were terrible the first go around so I wouldn't expect these to be any better. But man these guys are really imposing on the shelf. They make a nice centerpiece for my "S4+" shelf. Very nice set and I'm glad they didn't try to shoehorn these two into retail.

 

My VS is on a cross country tour. Went from Illinois to Minneapolis and now it's in California. I'm in WA state. They could have shipped from Chino and saved themselves some money  

 

I still have not heard anything about my VS that I shipped to work. No email from Pulse and obviously nothing from Fedex since it's a business address.

 

I appreciate y'all mentioning how your Sabers are always a day or two early - mine is scheduled for Friday, but I'm watching that FedEx number like a hawk in case he makes it to Michigan by Wednesday or Thursday maybe. I'd be shocked if it was that early given how he's shipping from clear across the country, but stranger things have happened!

Here's a minor, but kinda big thing for me. My Power rangers Yellow Dino Thunder Ranger toy has just shipped. Kira Ford. barring say a Bulk/Skull two-pack or them releasing a Hayley Ziktor figure from Dino Thunder, I'm 100% done with Power Rangers. I've got who I want, and don't need/want anyone else, barring those three.

 

Well well I just now got my order has left the building for Victory Saber!

And holy cow it's out for delivery today!! Awesome

 

So my VS was not delivered yesterday because of weather. So now it is up to my mostly deaf wife to hear the doorbell. I did sign the FedEx slip with a note about my wife's condition and giving them permission to leave the box, but since they didn't ask for the signature when they left the note it may not work. Keeping my digits crossed.

In other news, congratulations to Deathsaurus for lapping its target goal. Still hoping there will be one last bonus tier to surprise us with.

 

Got a shipping notif and some movement on the tracking for my Victory Leo!! Expected Friday, fingers crossed for a lil earlier. Oh yeah and the Star Saber he comes with is exciting too!  

 

Just got my shipping email this morning… he arrived this past Friday

 

Just got off the phone with pulse, they are sending me out a new complete holiday optimus prime... I only needed a replacement part for missing paint apps - but I get a whole new set instead?



It comes off easily enough to swap... but they said they have no extra parts to send out? (They don't cannibalize extras for stuff like this?)

Bonus, I get to keep the defective one too.

 

What would you say to $35 shipped with no box for this guy? I’ll give you a chance to make some of your money back.

 

Well, the box doesn't take up much more room than the figure itself, and it comes in a brown mailer (double-boxed) for more protection... if they really are just writing this copy off to me, I was contemplating a slight custom with it.
