Starscream's price was never adjusted, it was $38.99 from the moment he went up. Pulse also does not retroactively correct previous order prices, my SG Megatron orders are still sitting at $29.99 for both. You're also not accounting for the comic in the higher price of the SG figures.

Volcanicus looks cool and but I’m all in on Leader Class Dinos. I bought Slag, one Wreck-Gar (holding out for Junkyard to troop build), and two Gnaws on Pulse and two on bbts. TEMPTED by SG Starscream as a Seeker Troop builder. pass on Pf but I like those figures.

wait... there was a pricing error screamer? i ordered in the first 10 minutes and didnt see any change, other than the crotch kick of these new price points

EDIT** I assume you were referring to the price increase in general for the voyager and not a pricing mistake that was later corrected.

There's been much confusion around this point. Price went up relative to SG Megatron, which was 36.99 (which in itself was already a price bump). SG Starscream was 38.99 from the start today.

Perhaps because it's not a selling point to me. Much like the sticker cards in Kingdom boxes, it's just wasted money, dunnage.

Hopefully those who don't want the comics can sell them. There is a chance there are TF comic fans out there that are not interested in the figures.

I would rather they didn't include the comic from that point of view.

Those fans should hit me up. I've got Windblade, Chromia, and Scoop comics!

May not be a selling point for you but it does absolutely contribute to the $7 upcharge the SG figures have

You might rather that, but the fact is that the comic is included, and it plays into the cost. Honestly it's smart of them to include the comics because not many people are well versed in SG fiction, this is a good way to intro people to the concept

Wasn't arguing about it having to factor into the cost (I'm well aware they don't throw things in as freebies), just lamenting it. It's not really that big a deal - if it was, I wouldn't be buying the figures - just a bit an annoyance. You may have a point about using it to get people more familiar with that incarnation of the brand though. As marketing tool, it could conceivably make people want more of these in the future.

Yea, like for example, I've got 0 attachment to SG, I like the concept because I'm familair with it in Star Trek, but never read the Funpub stuff. I did grab the selects 2 pack without knowing these figures would be coming out, but without the comic being included I'm not sure I'd have completely bought into the subline because I wouldn't know anything about these versions of the characters. But with the comics they've managed to grab both my girlfriend and I for sales. Sucks that there's an upcharge for them when there wasn't an upcharge for the CW comics a few years ago, but then those were already produced mainline comics while the SG stuff was envisioned specifically to coincide with this subline

I've never really been that into the Shattered Glass stuff, but I gotta say that Starscream was really working for me until I saw the price. No judgment to anyone buying one, I'm just not into the whole idea enough to spend that much on what is essentially a really fun Voyager Jetfire.

Everything else from the reveals was very up my alley, however, and I scooped them all up. (Had to get Wreck-Gar on a second order because he just wasn't showing up for some reason, but it's NBD.)

Just to make sure you know, that and the other SG figures cost that much because they each come with an issue of a 5 part SG mini series comic

Figured I'd ask here since it was from Pulse, the Quintesson Pit of Judgement set. What exactly is exclusive to the set? I have it and was considering whether to get rid of it or not, but I don't really follow mainline releases so I didn't know what was exclusive to the set. Thanks!

Kranix, the Prosecutor, and the Bailiff are completely exclusive to the set (the Bailiff being a retool of the retail release Allicon).
The Judge is a recolor of the retail release Judge from Earthrise.
The Sharkticon is a recolor of the retail release Gnaw from Titans Return.

Nothing in the set was non-exclusive. The Quintesson Judge and Sharkticon Gnaw were repaints, and the Bailiff was a remold of the Alicon. The Prosecutor and Kranix were all new.

    So Volcanicus restocked.

I had the original, but this one looks so much better. Getting the upgrade kit as well. I know a Dinobot combiner is pretty polarizing but I LOVE the idea.

Thanks! I might just keep it then, I'm almost all MP but that scene from the movie was a favorite.

that's pretty neat! Granted, it doesn't help me a ton because I'm probably not buying the rest of them, so I guess I could just go read the comic somewhere if I wind up getting Starscream :lol
