....not sure about this. Worried Gotham Girls will be the better version. (At least that had Arleen Sorkin still voicing her)
Especially after how bad Batman & Harley Quinn turned out. If it's like that....

I'd think they'd have to turn her into an anti-hero for a show. All the shows I've seen starring a criminal, shows they have reasons they do what they do and they are never 100% bad guys.

The concept art looks pretty cool, at the very least.

Looks to be based on the Amanda Connors run. Right down to the Beaver.

Yeah, looks like, but I meant the style of the concept art. If the production animation looks like that, I'd be interested in checking it out... if it wasn't on DC's streaming service.

Wow. Modern Harley comics look really, really stupid.

    Only modern ones? :X

The character concept of her is perfectly fine, but this kind of characters rarely work alone. Gets trite and overdone way, way too fast...

Not expecting good things from this one. I love Harley as much as the next guy, but she's way to overexposed at this point. She just can't handle a lead role without a major rewrite. (Like Telltale's, for example. She's the only modern interpretation of Harley that I like. )

Harley is fine if she's around another character like the Joker or Poison Ivy, or in a group situation, but on her own she doesn't work as well.

    Agreed.
However, I used to collect the original Harley solo comic, and I thought it actually had some pretty good art, at least at first. It was interesting how the art would occasionally revert to a Batman TAS style to demonstrate the twisted way Harley saw the world, and the crimes she committed.

But Harley just doesn't work on her own. It was her complicated relationship with the Joker that made her interesting. Maybe I'm wrong about this, but I've always seen her as someone who was a decent person whose judgment is clouded by her infatuation with the Joker and his manipulation of her. That's the way she was portrayed in the Animated Series, specifically in Harlequinade and Harley's Holiday (2 of my favorite eps of that show). Without her puddin', there's no motivation for her to remain a bad guy. Of course, that's all just my view.

    Good point.

The only Harley-focused comic worth a damn I ever read was Mad Love, but otherwise...

    Eyup.
