Have they done or plan on doing any of those insane vehicular modification challenges yet? By far my favorite of the stunts they pulled on TG and one of the things that pissed me off about new TG because they didn't do them, but I don't know if they have the budget through Amazon.
In episode 4, they were each challenged to make environmentally friendly car bodies using a Land Rover Discovery chassis. To no surprise, it didn't end well.
Yeah, that brick car wasn't his brightest moment. Of course, I'm confident it was all for the joke of it. Still, unless those bricks in the roof were fake, I can't imagine how he didn't think, "Yes, this will break my neck in short time."
That has to be stupidly heavy. Hammond's was pretty much wooden. His, actually, wasn't bad... in a tree-hugging hippie kinda way.
I don't know how you guys are the series but the trivia comments added to the Kindle Fire format are pretty good too. I don't know who is writing them but they certainly can be heard in any of the three's voice.
Gotta love the new stick shift they installed on May's buggy. Also howled with laughter when his car caught fire while modifying Clarkson's.
Fanfuckingtastic special!!! Right up there with the best of anything from that other show! Spending most of the first hour driving in circles, to Hammond going off the cliff, Clarkson sticking a V8 in his buggy, and May drinking all the beer! Awesome stuff
Oh dear, the dildo gear stick being thrown around had me in stitches and Jeremy's beach buggy with a prolapsed V8!
While I hated the first two episodes of The Grand Tour, I honestly have enjoyed the series since... I can safely say that severing ties with the BBC may've been the best thing that could've happened for these three.
