Thanks guys. Lights will really help unify the whole thing for me. I might contract someone to set it up in the coming weeks. I'll keep you guys posted.

Clean and spacious....glad the Act 3 stands helped out. Whatever light style you choose LED's FTW!! Looks awesome!

Well there's no need for that. I run a shelter for unwanted and semi-deteriorated decaled G1 Transformers so I'll be happy to care for those in need!;)

One of the few threads, I will visit regularly....doesn't matter how many times you see the figures....everyone's interpretation and story is different!!

Turbine which 3P Devy is that in your setup and what do you think of X-Transbots Boost and Hatch??

That's the Toyworld set ... Still a little on the Chugsterpiece side, but I like it!!

I actually don't mind the little guys --- I feel they look great on display, but the feet are a little finicky the first time... As with all the XTB minibots, they look the part amazingly but suffer from being a bit more fragile feeling than their bigger bots. Mine didn't break at all, but I can tell I have to be more careful with them.

    I don't see a Gnaw. I think you're missing him. :)

Otherwise, it all looks GREAT!!! Awesome way of displaying them in year orders. And I'm so getting some raisers for my decoys / mcdonalds toys now.

    Guys

A friend of mine who owns a tiy shop gotten a overlord traded in. I have seen it in person and it is in amazing condition. Stiff joints, no discoloration, none or extremly minor chrome wear on the masters,

Only fault I see is the orange cockpit tab has broken. It still holds the cockpit in place.

Now the guy traded it in for sw figures and just wants his money back. I dont collect jap stuff or I would take it but I would try to help him sell it.

He wants 2000 Sek for it, same as he traded it in for. That is 168 GBP or about 240 usd.

I can get pics of it if anyone is interested.

FINALLY got an unused mailer prime. He was the last mailaway I needed and been wanting him for YEARS! I had to trade a friend a toy I've owned for 15 years to get the prime........ but, it was well worth it :)  I'll miss my toy, but I for sure got the better end of the bargain. This leads me to another point, but I'm going to make a 2nd post about it.

    Follow up post / sales/trade post :)

So, I have this nice case that I got my mailaway megs in years ago. Very nice for display purposes, but doesn't suit my needs. Mainly since the mailaway box doesn't fit inside. I need to have the mailer box displayed separate. I will actually need to break the case to take out the 3 pieces of paperwork. Since it is a nice case, I would rather not break it. So, here's what I'm looking to do. I will trade the case with the 3 pieces of paperwork to anyone willing to just send me the 3 pieces of paperwork loose. Granted, they need to be in perfect shape since my megs is unused and I'm going to put them in with his stickers/paperwork ect. You'd have to cover shipping for the case of course, since I'm not going to actually PAY to get rid of the case. But I figured it might be a nice upgrade for someone with minimal cost. And then I don't need to break anything :)  If there's no interest, I'll just break the case open. But I figured I'd try this first.

    Frustrating!

Does anyone like the G1 molds but would prefer that they had tampographed details instead of stickers? I like the toys but tampograph wins everytime against stickers, unless you're one of those rare fans who want Diaclone toys to be like they were in Diaclone without faction insignias.

There's something nostalgic about the stickers for me, but a few of the reissues had tampographed Autobot logos --- and I wasn't mad at that =P

I like stickers. I like getting reprolabels and refinishing them as well.
