This is looking really good. The risers are a nice touch and the MP's behind the G1's almost look like that episode in the floating tomb (this is a good thing)!

Mini-spies are cool. I don't have any but they look good right there. Excited to see the new layout to Hyper's collection as well.

This looks cleaner and I think you can see the figures better with the contrast from the white baackdrops!

I'm of the same vein...Animated was it for me...along with MP's of course!

    Nice shot!

Can anyone recommend small flight stands that would be good for Laserbeak and Buzzsaw?

Honestly, looking at these make me wish I had a TARDIS. I would try to make it when the pre-Transformers were just coming out in Japan and buy from select store. Then get what I am now collecting when they are new. And skip the classic G1 stuff. :D

I found that the Tamashi Stage 3 stands work well for most of the lighter bots. They're great for cassettes.

They're tough to come by on this side of the pond but if you buy online. They're pretty cheap.

Such a shame that they removed the radio gimmick from the TF versions of this mould.

Does the radio in your Microman cassette player still work?

    Super Strong Metroplex!

I've had my aerialbots a good few months now but only just got round to doing this. Remember seeing it in the instructions when I was just a kid and wishing I had the aerialbots to do this.

Anyone ever noticed that Sixshot and Trypticon more or less utilize the same colours?

    Hahahhaha

This looks great! Also helps me with my display since I haven't finished buying shelves yet and I can see about how things might fit!!

Smart use of risers all around! And now I'm jealous that my "complete G1 collection" doesn't have minispies and decoys :)

Also, big boy arrived to fill a whole in my "Then and Now" display:

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaym guys!!!!!!!!!!! Y'all killing it!! Definitely some reminders on this page as to why I keeping coming back to this thread. Seriously, how much can we talk about/look at the same ~30 year old toys?
    A whole damn lot apparently!

Hyperoptic, Turbine027 & Arkvander's "white Billies + glass shelves" set-up have me (borderline) regretting all those black Billies I bought *shakes fist* grrrrrrr

But seriously, thanks to everyone for their continuing contributions to this great thread.

Wow. I hope my near-complete US run looks half as good when I get done with my new display.

Looking better and better every time I see it. Love the "then-and-now" concept.
