What do you mean? They have been through some beating, but the only thing really worn out is Silverbolt's legs. They are too loose to hold on to the lower leg bots if I pick him up.

G2 Slingshot is notorious for suffering from GPS. It has a habit of falling apart, unfortunately.

This. GPS (Gold Plastic Syndrome) is a condition that affects plastics with that metal flaking inside. These things become brittle really fast, and some Slingshots have been known to basically shatter as you're opening the package. Be wary.

Nice pics man! Always cool to see the lineup!

For those collectors that have a version of Soundwave, in your opinion what's the one to go after? I've heard pretty much a 50/50 split on the double cassette door gimmick. So what's your suggested route: Encore, SDCC, original, other reissue? Price is not an issue.

SDCC or Original. Don't waste your time on double door.

SDCC, coming with 4 tapes is the convincer for me. Especially since the prices on the Encore sets went ******ed on us.

if the encore sets are over $80, that's too much since you can get the originals for that.

For the Soundwave reissue it depends on what mode you are really going after. In my opinion the double door isn't too distracting for robot mode, adds play value but diminishes the tape deck mode.
The single door is much sleaker.

The SDCC versions are going for enormous prices on Ebay. I don't think there's a single one under $200 ...
