Yes. I love both of the Sunstreakers (loose and AFA). He's one of those figures you don't see quite as often as the other Autobot cars, but I love the bright yellow.

So when did the black thermal autobot emblem start being put on the toys. I know it was pretty quickly but I had quite a few transformers before the black emblem. Anyone know off hand?

The first wave of TFs released back in 1984 did not have the black emblems (aka rub-signs). These are generally known as "pre-rub" Transformers.

Soon in 1984, for subsequent releases, TFs started spotting the rub-signs. The main reason for the introduction of rub-signs was to distinguish TFs from Go-Bots, which were released a month or 2 ahead of TFs in 1984 and were, back then, TFs' main competitors in the transforming robot market.

I'd say no f**king way. I've seen 2-3 sets of VSY with much nicer boxes (one of which was almost factory fresh) than that in HK over the past year asking for USD$1900 and even those I thought were disproportionately expensive.

Star Saber doesn't look bad. Does he have any shoulder articulation?

His shoulders do not move. His whole arms however, have lateral 360 degree swivel articulation. He also has elbow movement up and down. Legs move from side to side, mostly due to the way he transforms. Generally a brick like most of his G1 brethren.
