This is fantastic man. Thanks for spearheading this idea. As someone who is just now getting my feet wet with the greatness that is G1, I really hope I can utilize this resource.

 

I don't think anyone who does not have multiple good feedback posts should be allowed to join.

Use it as screen for the rest of us and also keep riff raff out.

I'd love to get into a BST group just for G1 stuff. I've got about 50 US G1 releases to go, and probably double that number in little parts and pieces. Tracking that stuff down on ebay is not easy, but a social group would be fantastic! Hopefully that idea gets approved

I do think it would be good to have a system in place for membership in the social group, whether it be a majority vote or feedback. I just thought it would help out since everyone here has been burned or not gotten something as described.

Count me in, I've not dealt before on here other than with Automorph but I'm looking to sell my spares soon and interested in buying any boxed G1 goodies!

I think the feedback thing is a good idea but I have not dealt before with anyone so it would mean I would be excluded. I don't know a better way though.

 

A g1 sales group would be nice if I still lived in the states

I completely agree, which is why I made it an invite only group. The best way I could think to do that was to have them link to their feedback thread on TFW and making sure that it was in good standing when someone is requesting to join. I'm not too keen on the voting thing, just for the logistics of trying or organize such a thing, and I know how easily a group can go on a witch hunt if they get too worked up and it could make the group turn into kind of an "elietest thing"; I'm not going for that, just would like to see a good g1 resource....and I really don't want to personally get involved in other people's personal business when it comes to personality clashes.

Count me in! I'm always looking for more of dat G1 goodness, and my feedback is quite solid. Junkion is a bit of hassle to navigate at times ("No, I'm not looking for Botcon Weirdwolf!!") and eBay's prices are, well...y'know how it is.

I love this thread. Don't post that much but even if I'm just stopping by TFW this will be the one thread I ALWAYS take a peak into. Funny enough, it was through browsing in here that I was able to score a Reflector.

 

I would definitely like to be part of the group but have no feedback on this site. I find the Junkion Exchange to be rather maddening. I did try to sell a G1 Megatron here but nobody bought it and I ended up selling it on eBay. I put out a want ad for a Binaltech Hound gun (which I still need btw) but had no luck.

On eBay I've got a feedback score of 476 and am 100% positive. If you look at my feedback detail you'll see that I've got a good number of Transformers purchases and a few sales under my belt. My eBay id is jdawg316.

Whether I'm allowed in or not I'd just like to say that I agree with the idea of making pictures mandatory. I'd rather not see knockoffs allowed but that's just me. Official re-issues are fine.

 

Can I join too? Even though Im not in the US I still like to trade and do business with US members. KOs are okay in my book. As long as they are sold as such.
