GRATS on Sixshot, one of my favorite G1 molds.  

Thought I'd share some pics of what came in the mail today, nothing too special... just some KOs.

































Cut the bubble to get the weapons out, for my legit SquwakBox & SlamDance, then threw the figures in a padded envelope, and shipped them out to a buddy that I know is looking for them...he'll be surprised when they get there.

Got them all as "payment owed" from a guy that screwed me on a deal almost a year ago...not quite what I was supposed to get, but figured it was better than nothing. I had already accepted the fact that I got scammed outta quite a bit of cash and then out of the blue the guy wants to make it right somehow, so we settled on this.

Strangely enough, I don't own any of these figures already; I've been collecting since 06 and don't know how that happened. I guess they just ended up on that list of "I'll get them eventually" since they're not that uncommon, they can be a little pricey but still pretty easy to find.

 

Wow, all in one go. So did it turn out to be a good deal for you?

Dollar for dollar I came out ahead, but in the overall picture it wasn't worth what it put me through. That deal going bad almost made me quite collecting transformers all together, it took me a couple of months before I could even log on to TFW I was so upset about it; it really put me in a bad spot mentally. But that's old ish, it's all good now and now that he made good on the money I'm even better.  

I'm waiting on approval from one of the Mods about the social group, I want to make sure it's not a violation of any of the board rules, but here's what I had put together for rules. I was limited to 1000 characters, so I had to drop some stuff; Some of it will have to just be common sense.

Any input?

I just realized I may have sounded too presumptuous when I said this. Of course I hope to get an invite.

All will be invited (pending mod approval for the idea); I'm trying to set this up for all of us, if/when I get the OK, everybody will be welcome.

The only reason I made it invite only with a couple prerequisites is to try and keep any scammers out, and to maintain some control to make sure everything stays G1-centric.

Like I said, if anybody has any input, by all means let me know. This would be for all us who collect G1, not just me.  

If you have friends you'd like to see invited, start making a list, and once I get the OK, and you get your invite, just send me their names, and I'll get an invite out to them too.

This really could be a great thing, I often turn to eBay for G1 stuff because it's just easier to find on there than in the Junkion...especially when you're searching for a rather specific item. If we could pool a large chunk of G1 lists together and not have to wade through a bunch of other stuff it, could work out well for all of us.

EDIT: I just realized that the new layout for the social groups allows you to subscribe to the group and get a notification when something is posted...this could actually be the instrument that is responsible for the death of my wallet.

Just an idea, how about if we make pics compulsory, unlike in Junkion?
