Piecing together a G1 figure ... the thought terrifies me. I've seen some of the prices certain accessories can fetch and it's scary.

I know it's going to happen for me someday, but if I can I always buy complete. A buddy of mine just sent over some G1 figs that I think are missing a gun or two ... so here it goes :lol

I've found that piecing together combiners tends to be cheaper and for me, a lot more. That feeling of building the combiner up over time rather than just getting everything in one go is great and it allows you to appreciate the individual bots over time.

As for single bots....well I've been looking for a spoiler, fists and shoulder things for Sunstreaker for some time (mainly the spoiler) and well, I've seen one of eBay and it was £14 (no thanks!). So accessories are easier and cheaper to get than others but many aren't because people charge stupid prices as they know people will pay because they need these things.

I'm am very glad I went on a bit of collecting spree between 2004 and 2006 to fill in most of my G1 collection.

The only bits left that I'd like to get to complete my G1 stuff are: Twintwist & Topspin (not a huge priority since they tend to be readily available), Runamuck and Runabout (again not a huge priority, although for complete ones that still function, they can be a bit pricier) and lastly: Gnaw (again not a huge priority but this time it's because complete ones are stupid expensive).

Thought y'all might get a kick out of some G1 odds and ends I found when I was rummaging through my stuff.
First, my Wheeljack door chime. This thing is pretty cool, and still chimes.

Second, my Rumble voice changer. It might still work, but the microphone that was attached to the headset broke off, so I can't check.

    More to come.

SCORE!!!! Overlord and Omegatron are both mine...well once they actually arrive.

Overlord isn't complete, but at the price I got him for I couldn't argue. I should be able to complete him for less than a complete one costs.

Omegatron is MIB but missing one medium red clip, so I'm going to have to keep an eye out for one, but he should still display well without it.

Got both these guys for less than I was going to pay for Overlord, so please excuse the sqwee, but I'm pretty happy and wanted to share. :D

455 USD already and three more days. A lot can happen in three days. Heck, in eBay, a lot can happen in a minute. Just get that Dagbase and you'd all be happier. :)

I've talked to a couple folks in here about this via PM.

As far as ebay goes since we tend to be the majority of hunters/buyers of a lot of these pieces I think it would make our lives easier if we worked together on the who is bidding on what currently. Why fight each other, it would work out for all of us, just take more time is all.

Also, that Squeezeplay, Horri-bull and Fangry awe awesome, we need more pics in this thread again.

I have done that with other people on here. I told them, hey I am going after this or vice versa.

BTW, just throwing this out there, but if anyone is looking to sell any of the following, I am looking to buy:

    - Springer
    - Blurr
    - Wreck Gar
    - Cyclonus
    - Scourge

Anyone wanna guess what I am collecting next.

I noticed that Grandus too. I'd want to bid on it just for the Micromaster. Now that I know you are bidding on it I'll refrain. Best of luck!

More pictures you say? Here ya go! I've finished my display of the majority of my G1. Here's my 1984 - 1986

I thought so too but I checked and they are different. I remember that this kit was for sale 5 years or so ago by BBTS.
