    Ebay:
REALLY happy with my latest purchase. I originally didn't plan on spending this much cash on a G1 Dinobot but it was tough saying no to this figure

Now I have been involved in some pretty heavy bidding wars for Swoop lately.

1985 G1VINTAGE TRANSFORMERS DINOBOT SWOOP MIB MINT | eBay

1985 G1 VINTAGE TRANSFORMERS DINOBOT SWOOP MIB MINT | eBay

So I do apologize if anyone here brought those items because I was pretty determined to win; however, I gave up once the items jumped pass the 200 dollar mark. 200+ for a vintage Dinobot just wasn't going to happen.

The good news? I waited a few weeks and was able to snag one for 145 (Well, 120 because I just recently sold a bunch of stuff I didn't want). That is still kinda pricy but I remember buying a loose, 100% complete Swoop for 110 five years ago, so 145 didn't seem too bad in my opinion.

    CAN'T WAIT!! WOO HOOO!!!!!!!

    My first Detolf set-up:

I thought it would be tricky to figure out what to put in only two detolf shelves, then I realised I've never had my eHobby or early G1 figures on display, and I much prefer seeing stuff out of the box. I tried to keep it as much 84 / 85 as possible, but focused around molds that have been E-hobbified.
Missing missiles will mean they are still on the sprue, and yes I need to re-do the 84 seeker shelf, Ramjet. repros ordered.

Nice set up! Love the e-hobby repaints. Every time I see them, I jump over to ebay to price them out...then I remind myself that I have other priorities first...

Congrats! You just conquered the toughest Dinobot to get a good deal on.

    Great looking display.

Black Devy is a KO, but he works with the Ehobby theme I felt. I left all of the G2 versions of the molds separate.

There are three other KO's in the collection. Who can spot them?

    Yes, you are correct!

I still remember how happy I was when you sent me this pic of the haul you got for me to top everything off:

Hey! How much does that original Takara Megatron go for? I'm a big fan of the zero chrome look on Megatron.

Guys, thanks for the props on my photos. I almost didn't post them, as I'm not happy with the results. At any rate, it was a fun shoot, and I did want to share.

@ East C: I limited myself to US only as well. I really enjoy the other figures, but it's just not something I can swing.

@ Sid and Seb, I'm envious of those photos!

@ chris: congrats on those hauls. Just about any mib goodness, I'm envious of!

heh, no worries buddy. Very happy to be able to find those things for you!

The happiest find was the 3 Go-Bots that you wanted. I've never heard of them before, and had no idea how they looked. Went to a store and identified them by name (kind of hard to miss "Optimus Prime, Megatron and Soundwave") then confirmed online that they were what you were after.

And to top it all off, the shop was selling them exact 3 pieces as a set. Plus they are in the sealed condition and on Japanese card like you required.

    How perfect I thought.

PS: have you tried the free bubblegum that is attached to these?

I love to see BZ toy pictures. With all the GPS horrors it take some brass to handle him! Love the masters shots too!

I have a request for you H_D: could you post a pic with Siren/ Goshoota and the BZ helmet blues? I am doing a BZ custom and can't decide on which color of blue to work with. As I have a Siren I could compare it a little. Thanks!

Agreed. This is one reason I've always enjoyed AutoCon2076's collection as well :)

    Lovin' those shots, h_c!

Just for the record, I wanna say that I THOROUGHLY enjoy seeing mib and sealed pieces. Mainly, my goal with this thread is to encourage as many people as humanly possible to participate in this thread. Simply put, more people are gonna collect loose stuff. Sealed stuff? Post it. MIB stuff? Post it. Loose, minty complete? Post em! "Junker" or "war-ravaged" G1s? POST EM!

Just to reiterate the fact that I despised my last photo shoot (ISO settings were shot all off for one thing) and I almost didn't post any. Then I remembered why I started this thread: to have a party, G1 style!

    As such, here's moar:

More BZ (I have 2 actually, this one has eyes that are coloured red, not the original colour; 2 Scorpys too, one in USA box and another in Jap box).

hey dude, I would love to do that, but can't at the moment. I'm preparing for a move and so BZ and Siren are packed up in cartons. The only one I have easy access to now is Go-Shooter.

holy crap, that's an impressive Scourge army. And all are so minty too. For my army, the paint top Scourge is the boss, TM Scourge, is a lackey!

I'd like to post more pics too, but only can do some at a time and usually I try to "match" the theme of discussion. I have thousands of photos of my collection and each piece in quite some detail, so that'd be too many for 1 or 2 or 3 goes here.

99% of my USA and Jap pieces are MIB at least and many are unused. My blog (www.HeroicDecepticon.com) is probably the place where most photos can be found, but even then, there are still a lot of things I have not posted there.

It's great that I can take little bites at posting stuff for this thread. :thumbs2:
