I was gonna say, KO right?

What Micromaster did Galaxy Shuttle actually come with anyway? Was it a recolor or an all-new mold?

I love Nintendo and I love G1 so when I saw Simon was making these amazing customs, I had to have one!

He didn't. He has space to stow a couple of micromaster passengers, but unlike the following year's Zone figures (Dai Atlas and friends) he didn't come with a companion included. His box shows him being piloted by one of the brainmasters.

I like to partner him up with Stakeout (Holi) as it fits the Victory theme :)

To my knowledge the original didn’t come with a Micromaster. The KO was released with an updated Targetmaster Fracas. I bought this secondhand though so I didn’t get the Fracas figure. The Micromaster I displayed him with, Overload, is the only G1 Autobot Micromaster I own. I just wanted to show off his scale and features and it was the best I could do.

It's a bit of an odd one. I won a custom slot that someone else had set up for this so I never dealt with the actual customizer himself. Genuine G1 Megatron with all the accessories. I can do full shots if people are interested.

Ok, moving on from the Pretenders......for now. I am actively seeking to obtain more of them (looking at you Skullgrin and Gunrunner). This next figure is one that I have wanted for over 30 years. I always thought the Targetmasters were a cool gimmick back in the late 80s. I only ever had 2 and they were considered the smaller Targetmasters, Spinister and Quickmix. I always wanted the larger ones. They were more intricate, for a G1 figure anyway. Had sleeker alt modes and bigger guns. Granted they only came with one, the smaller Targetmasters came with two smaller ones. I guess maybe they were trying to compensate in some way. They’d have to come in weapons blazing to try to overcome the ego on this bright boy, which may be well justified. It’s G1 Sureshot!

The California Dream! Brighter than the sun at the beach with an attitude to match, Sureshot lives up to his name being an expert marksman. And he’s not afraid to let anyone know it.

But at least he’s got his TM buddy, Spoilsport to keep him in line. Spoilsport is just as good a marksman as Sureshot and I like to think that takes Sureshot down a notch sometimes so he doesn’t get too cocky.

As simple as the G1 TM’s are, Spoilsport still pulls off a halfway decent double-barrel blaster.
Actually looks kinda cool riding as shotgun in Sureshot’s alt mode.

This is just some G1 hotness right here. What kid in the 80s didn’t want a dune buggy? Thanks Megaforce and Mad Max  ! I really love this alt mode. Aside from the faction symbol which I replaced, all the stickers are still the originals which are in reasonably good shape. Some light paint flecking on the windshield, but I can live with it. Cleaned him up a bit and now he shines like the sun. Sureshot has a simple yet still unique transformation. It’s really fun and satisfying with a neat chest slide trick.

Sureshot and Spoilsport are G1 treats. After 30+ years of waiting, I’m not sure what my expectations of this figure were. I’m not sure I really had any expectations and that it was just anticipation. This is a figure I just knew I would like no matter what. And when I found him recently on eBay, I was pleasantly surprised to find out I was right. Like I said, his ego is well justified. Sureshot is just that damn good.

I agree. They were slightly less intricate than the duocons but despised for their simplicity yet everyone had one of the two. I had this topspin since I was a kid and had a twin twist later on but I was always jealous of my cousin that had Flywheels.

Loved the Jumpstarters as a kid. Topspin was mine and my brother had Twin Twist. Loved the simplicity of the pull-back-n-go feature. The flip was always the fun part and thanks to their huge feet, they always stuck the landing.

Messing around with some Toyhax today, had a spare small foil Auotbot symbol that I cut off the sheet and ended up not needing. Did'nt want to waste it so put it on my old G1 Bumblebee. Its amazing how much life a single small decal can add to an old G1.

I take it you're missing that little blue gun as well?
