With the announcement of the Takara Tomy Raiden Project, who else is hoping for a G1 reissue? I know I'd be down for 2 if they do.
Don't get me wrong I'd be very happy with a updated Generations version, but since I got the decent quality KO about 10+ years ago, I've wanted an authentic G1 version.
Congrats on the sealed Armada Laserbeak!
Ceji Joustra Diaclone "Aragon" (1984).
The pre-TF Powerdasher car named "Aragon" by - I believe - Paul & Gaetan Brizzi who did all wave 1 Ceji Joustra Diaclone packaging/comic art & story. Interesting how "Aragon" is now its adopted TF name, also used for Diakron & GiG releases.
Interesting how the retailer seems to have applied adhesive strips over the Ceji Joustra logo to cover it up, maybe because Ceji Joustra were bought out by Hasbro Bradley in late '85. Possibly a necessary measure to keep selling their products alongside TFs in shops at the time.
All the best
I’m hoping for a reissue too! The KO doesn’t look so bad once you find a loose, cheap green bot on eBay ... considering I got the KO for about $15 at OTFCC and the green one for another $20 I can’t really complain, but I’m in on replacing!
I wasn’t going to grab his reissue, but my original can barely stand and has stress marks behind the turret. Original on the left, reissue on the right. The new one is a bit lighter in colour, but aside from that, the rub sign, and the stamping on the underside they’re identical. I can’t wait for Powerglide, Cosmos, Cliffjumper, Pipes, Hubcap and Bumper. And yes, even Wheelie.
Am I wrong or is that bubble meant to work with all three Powerdashers? I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen a bubble shaped for multiple figures before.
And congratulations on your Ballcrush Pointywidget, I’ve heard he’s great. Such an icon.
I’m up for any reissued G1 Combiner. The ones I don’t already have anyway, which are all of the Japanese only ones. Reissue or Generations update, I’m in like Flynn.
Correct, the bubble is meant to work for all three pre-TF Powerdashers. That bubble - that is pretty much always that yellow colour - was used by Ceji Joustra, GiG, Diakron/Kronoform too.
All the best
Found a set of tapes today...cheers!
I think it's a new set and it's a Takara Tomy project because Hasbro aren't bothered about that character.
I think if it was a reissue they would have announced it as a new Encore product straight away, but I could be wrong.
Thankfully my Raiden is boxed so if they do reissue them they shouldn't lose too much value, and it would be great for more people to get hold of them.
Im racking my brain trying to identify this piece but I’m not having any luck in my guides or online. I was wondering if someone here may know what it is.

Thanks a bunch!
That box looks to be in amazing condition. But hot damn if that loose sprue of missiles wouldn't make me crazy every time I looked at it.
Who are the vehicles in the first shelf
I didn't even know they made a blue Omega
The Japanese variations of Skyhopper and Groundshaker called Skyhyper and Landshaker...
Other that the micromaster, Landshaker just has different stickers... pics from @brr-icy
This is the way I'm leaning. The timeline would make sense as the Generations select Seacons would be rolling out in Jan/Feb/March and December would be a good time to announce the next project. I would suspect the would start rolling out sometime in late Q2 of next year.
Either way I like the idea of "Why not both"
Separate names with a comma.
