There's already a translation that they're working on the next MPG combiner

If they do, I think it will be larger like the 3P ones.

Raiden really feels like a unique case since the train modes were scaled on purpose.

A 50cm combiner is physically impossible, unless Takara oversize the components like Radiatron or use partforming like Zeta Toys.
In the booklet Ono claims that the H0 size of the trains was more than needed, he had some troubles scaling the robot in correct height.

Ono just said 'next MPG'. Could be a combiner, but a God Ginrai is just as likely.

Ofcourse, just watch them reveal a combiner that wasn’t even on the survey list. :p

What were the results of the survey list? Or what combiners were on the list?

    Thanks!

I'd love God Ginrai, Predaking, or Superion as the next MPG.

I think you’re right on this one. If Devastator is the next MPG, I don’t think there’s a huge market for construction vehicle enthusiasts (I could be wrong) so the scaling might be different. I would hope they’re able to find a way to scale all three modes, but as we’ve seen with the trainbots, it’s hard to incorporate that mass and hide it in the robot form, while also having the strength to hold up a combined form. I’d love to see it, and maybe this is something they’re working on? At any rate, constructicons should be about Ironhide/Grapple height I think so that would get a reasonable height right off the bat for a combined mode.

Is there a link to this translation? The translation from the Transformers Slag Podcast just mentions they would like to do Metalhawk or Omega Supreme.

Not sure where I saw it, but the post below mine said Ono only said 'next MPG'. I didn't pay enough attention to whatever I read to rebut that, so we know they're definitely onto the next MPG, but although I've seen something that said it was a combiner, it could be the wrong end of the stick.

All it said is they’re working on the next MPG.

The Metalhawk and Omega comments are from different interviews. Omega was name dropped in the Skyfire interview when talking about the mini figs. Ōno said that he’d love to include more if they were to for instance release a hypothetical Omega Supreme somewhere down the line. Metalhawk was mentioned as being a figure he himself would love to do but he said it’d be really hard to convince the rest of the team.

    That was it!
This is the bit. I recall reading somewhere that the interview said they were 'working on the next MPG combiner', not 'working on the next MPG'. Obviously that's incorrect and there's nothing concrete about the type of figure coming next in MPG

Omega Supreme? Wouldn't that fall into the same camp as Unicron: Way too big and expensive, probably best as a Haslab or something? Assuming they need another version after the Titan.

Metalhawk would be cool, or at least more interesting than a 2.0/3.0 of a figure.

Assuming they want to stick with the MP scale and not with the MPG combined (only Raiden as representative by now) size
