Yeah, the Gattai/Giant definition could fit on a lot of characters (only a thing, Reflector appeared in a regular MP poll). I'm quite convinced that, for matter of mass and all, scale for giants will be around 30/35 cm, and interations with the regular robot wil be interpreted with the minifigure as the ones included in Skyfire (but it's my opinion, of course). So a one-stand Omega Supreme could be possible, as a Predaking Gattai, or a SkyLynx Gattai Giant, etc etc. Or also a Metroplex, who know.

Trainbots in robot mode are in scale, as you can see in this image:
    upload_2022-12-23_16-21-20.png

But the combiner, just for a question of mass and impossible mass shifting, is not. So they stick with a 30 cm combiner.
The same will be for Devastator: without doubt the single robot will be in scale (more or less Trainbots height), but a 40 cm robot will be a miracle, in my book.

Thank you. I'd never even heard of Raiden until he was announced on here

Sorry to sound like a broken record, but I'm really not happy with the MPG line and their hybrid style designs and short combiners. At the very least, I want full toon Constructicons as tall as the MP-52 seekers. No extra greebling and no chrome. I would prefer a Devastator that is much taller than MPG Raiden but I think that ship has sailed. TT seems keen on a 30cm combiner height. But at least if the Constructicons matched the regular MP line in appearance you could ignore the short combined mode and display them with the MP Decepticons as individuals, but I don't trust Ohno to give us that. He seems keen on the hybrid style for MPG. As usual, I am sincerely hoping I'm totally wrong on this. I've been ignoring 3P options and waiting so long for proper MP Constructicons. I will be beyond disappointed if I need to end up buying 3P Constructicons in the end to get the appearance and scale I want. Sorry for the rant, carry on!

To keep this post on topic, I'm expecting an MP announcement after Skyfire releases and I think it will be Hoist or Mirage. And crossing my fingers for more Decepticons.

I believe that Shoki and Ironhide should be the same size, but which is the correct size to match?

Ironhide and other big carbots are upscaled compared to the rest of the chart (Ratchet, Grapple, Inferno and now Trailbreaker).

Will be crazy if we're all right about the Porsche license and it goes into effect January 1, though. Jazz and Cliffjumper double reveal to kick off 2023? Ahhh...

It would be great to finally know.

I see too many people claiming that the Porsche license and thus a licensed MP Jazz is a shoo-in now that there's a Porsche in the next movie. However we know it's not the same (e.g. Sideways was an Audi in RotF but the toy wasn't) and we also know that licences are often limited to a specific model or even use (i.e. the RotB Mirage toy could be a licensed Porsche, but nothing else).

It would be great to know if HasTak have finally secured the license to make a TF figure that turns into an actual Porsche. However, if not...then I think we can consider the chances of ever getting a licensed MP Jazz extremely slim and it will go the same like the SS86 figure: close, but not exact.

Assuming Seizan doesn't count as our January reveal, I'm not expecting anything more than Hoist.

A Hoist reveal would be most delightful. He’s honestly one of my most wanted Masterpiece Autobots, along with Jazz.

All true... personally a lot of my optimism comes from the trailer being featured on Porsche's official website. We've come a long way from Porsche's mid-2000s stance on Transformers ("Never call us again"). Whether that goes as far as licensed toys... we'll find out some time in the next couple of months.

The flip side here is, if it goes the way we want, Takara will have to push out some Porsche toys pretty quickly... and Hoist goes to the back burner.

Hoist going back a little wouldn't hurt, I don't think. He's a shoo-in release, so no uncertainty, plus he's a retool so simple enough to put out quite quickly.

But getting the two grail MPs out would soften any blow for those wanting Hoist or outright trump it for those wanting the Porsche's.

Delaying the Porsche's to release Hoist though? That probably doesn't suit more than a handful of people.

Still kind of odd after all this time, we seen nothing on Hoist. My tin hat theory is Devastator is the next MPG, and Hoist will get announced sometime around that announcement.

Personally besides CJ, I wouldn't be surprised if the next announcement is Blitzwing, he's came up repeatedly on surveys since Ono took over. I think it depends on how well characters not named Meister,Lieger, and Galvatron do, that probably determine how soon we see them.

With Kaen confirmed for December, we will have 6 new molds (MPM included) next year, so 2 classic mps (not repaint) announced between January and April seems unlikely. From May, we will talk about 2024 MPS. Best bet there will be some Diaclone Trailbreaker Mail order and maybe Black Skyfire because why not.

I could see us getting Hoist in the next 6 months to a year. Question is will he be MP-58 or will they sneak another release in before him?

I really think the size has everything to do with the Train enthusiast aspect of this.

Just a feeling, but I bet they don’t do another combiner in the MPG line or at the very least at that size.
