In my option Soundwave will have a version 2.0. Mp10, 11, 13(and his cassettes), 21 don't have a toon color plus version, and 3 of them have already been redone. To me, that is a confirmation of Soundwave v2.

Most likely, unless they continue JP G1. The most logical would be Devastator/ Stunticons ( popularity) and Bruticus ( repaint)

Could be, most work Soundblaster has had since he was originally released.
With July-January open, I hope something sneaks in there.
Thinking how Skids transformation seems more Studio Series versus modern MP, reminded me, the MP designers worked on a number of SS designs. Maybe a MP finished version of one those characters may sneak in. Ono was asked about the anniversary but unlike Raiden and Skyfire didnt put forth any plans for the MP line.

Oh, we all think it's coming. But we also usually joke (bit not really) about new figures being posed with old ones...especially when the old one needs a refresh.

Posing Shouki with Soundblaster plays into that idea fully (and that's not even using the Seeker images with MP13) that the figure is about to get a refresh.

Gotta say though, my new Acoustic Wave is bloody good, so it'll take a

I was thinking Devastator, also for his Diaclone roots ( and yellow repaints), in the photodrama they could introduce new combiners components, and they used SB just for first foe

    You mean Ratbat 2.0.

Soundblaster/Soundwave is the only MP Decepticon that appeared in the Headmasters cartoon.
I don't think there is any other reason.

I think there is a "blink and you'll miss him" appearance from Ramjet (or was it Thrust?) in the background early on.

Otherwise I think TT is still trying to keep the MP Galvatron under wraps until later in the year before announcing him.

Only reason why I haven't gone full Stan for Galvatorn is Skyfire. It would be hard to work him in with Skyfire and at least two trainbots. When I saw the promos with Soundblaster, it really sunk in how they have neglected post S2 Decepticon.

Tracks is relatively simple, except for the legs, which could be simpler, more elegant, and better-articulated. I also feel that the wings are too long and the backpack awkward.

I agree. I think they made the wings this large for the "flying car mode" maybe. But I would have preferred them smaller, more cartoon accurate. The legs are floppy, and the lower arms are too long. Of all the older post-MP-10 Masterpieces, I think Tracks needs an upgrade the most. I would like a Lamborghini v2 mold, but Tracks really is an odd one out.

As much as I prefer Hasui-era MPs and the Lambor mold in general (I particularly like MP Clampdown), I would likewise enjoy a new version of the hood-chested Lamborghini bots. Unfortunately if we get one, it's likely to be very animation-leaning in design, and I'm not a fan of figures like MP-25, 44, 47, 52, etc. I'm guessing regardless whether TT issues a V2, the MP-12 mold will be secure in my collection. All I would really want is a collapsible chest, leaner legs, a new head sculpt, and better articulation.

Tracks is indeed an oddball-- he wasn't designed by Hasui, but doesn't fit well with the more toon-styled bots that came later. He's pretty hollow in feel and although he has some clever design features, he's not fun to pose or to transform. I'm surprised no 3P company has made a version of him.

Incidentally, I like MP Loudpedal more than Tracks, but it's largely because I cut the wings off.

A lot of it is constraints from the alt mode,@Dead End14 point about a Tracks done with MP-39 technology would best way of getting around. My guess is certain characters aren't as simple as people give credit especially in regards to toon accuracy, which is why 3ps have avoided characters people wouldn't mind see other options for.

Yeah that's why I hope they let the real world alt mode go and go for the bulkier and more square cartoon counterpart.

It would make him less hollow, and they can fit in all the modern engineering and give him the MP Sunstreaker aesthetic.

The very existence of this guy gives me no hope for a new Tracks on the table: transformation is almost the MP one simplified, and he has the same stylish choices for the feet.

I'll be happy if takara reveals jazz, But I'll be really happy if Takara ever decides to create soundwave v2. To be honest, there arent many decepticons in the mp line

True, but there were always more Autobots than Decepticons. It seems like they release them at a pretty reasonable rate comparatively. I would also love to see a Soundwave 2.0 along with all of his minions, but Reflector would be a big hit too. Maybe even the Insecticons? I just wonder if either of those are on TT’s radar. They would all add size variety to that side and I think they could come with interesting accessories. Energon cubes and maybe mining carts from the caves in Burma.

So, Skywarp's release,Figure King, end of the year, and Wonfes in February, which goes first and gives us a new reveal? Not to knock Skids, if Starscream was the toy you wanted for your birthday, Skids was the socks and drawers, you don't really want them at the time, but you kind of need them. This place needs some kind of buzz

If, as I suspect, Skids and Reboost have knocked Japanese fans' collective socks off, Takara is possibly soiling its drawers wanting to get Burn-Out out there... and maybe another red City... strike while the buzz is hot, you know?

I'm expecting the first new reveal to be a Trainbot. My money is on Getsui. I'm hoping for a Decepticon announcement too.
