Yeah I used to go by Big-O back then. When the site had a reset… twice and we all had to re-register I sniped the Tekkaman Blade name. Someone had it before me and I had really wanted to use it.

What would you say the guaranteed remake over and over characters are?

My list goes: Optimus, Megatron, Starscream, Bumblebee, Grimlock, Soundwave

Based on the release history I think we're due for a Grimlock and Soundwave soon.

I could care less about Galvatron but this post gets a like just for the laugh it gave me.

Pet peeve, not a dig (because loads of people do it) but this post says you do care about Galvatron.

It's "couldn't care less". As in, it isn't possible to care any less than you already do.

I don't do 'grammar police', but this one just scratches the itch! Probably because the mistake (which sometimes is just a typo or autocorrect, so the person might be aware of the correct terminology) means the exact opposite of the intended position.

And yes, @Sam's post made me laugh too, so I am actually fairly normal, too.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming of pleading with TT lurkers for MP Jazz, Cliffjumper and Galvatron :D

The phrase "I could care less" comes from the expression "I could care less, but not by a lot"

    It's fine

Just googled that and it seems it's an American twist circa 1960s, but that grammatically it's still incorrect when used in this way. It's just become commonplace enough that folk understand what is meant when it's used

Yes, if you’re talking about the remaining Season 1 and 2 bots, along with a new correctly scaled Grimlock, the rest of the Dinobots, the Insecticons and the Constructicons.

Just face it you guys and the Aussies have better accents but we mutilated English horribly and still made it cool.:D

Of course if you go to the right places down south it's like listening to the Gypsys in Snatch and that stuff makes sense to nobody.

Ha! I suppose one could spend all day on this site searching for pedantic opportunities. I've considered my use of that phrase before, but figured it didn't matter much because the connotation was obvious. Would it have made more sense (or at least not strike a nerve) if I'd said "I don't give a damn about Galvatron"? While that phrase is generally considered a negative comment, technically speaking, it likewise suggests that I favor Galvatron. Damnation is a condemnation to hell, so "giving a damn" is the equivalent of a curse or rejection. Not giving a damn would be praise, or at the very least neutrality.

Besides, you're making the assumption that my baseline is "like" with Galvatron. It isn't. I don't like him, but I could probably research his bio and dislike him even more. I gave up on S3 of the original cartoon in part because I didn't like the new characters, including Galvatron. I left much of that season unwatched, and I'm fairly confident I could find many reasons in it to care less.

Anyway, enough with semantics. My apologies for the itch.

If you want to live a life of perpetual disappointment you can add in all sorts of guys they haven't done yet. The S1 cars and Minibots, Dinobots and Insecticons, Reflector and Triple Changers sounds doable in a reasonable amount of time before we're all too old (or too dead) to enjoy them.

IF MP Raiden does well, with no major QC issues, I think the likelihood for MPs of the following increases exponentially:
    Devy
    Menasor
    Superion
    Defensor
    Bruticus

I'm confident we will see Stunticons, Protectobots, Aerialbots and Dinobots eventually.

I also think we'll see Jazz, CJ and Mirage within the next 3 years.

I think Devastator is a lock if Raiden does well. It also sounds like the Raiden members will be sold separately and not as a set. That seems like the best way to go to as it’s more affordable from figure to figure. The others, I’m less confident about, especially Menasor. Getting all of the car companies agree to allow their brand to be released as “bad guys” and combine together seems like a tough sell, but I’ve been wrong before. Ferrari also seems to be one that’s difficult to get from what I’ve been reading here.

When/if Jazz or Cliffjumper are revealed this site will break in half. I for one, look forward to it.

Kind of hope we get the conehead announcement by October, I'm looking forward to my Decepticon shelf floor looking like the Nemesis.

Little late to the party on this one, but no! NO! Bad fanboy! ;)

Joking aside, four years is nothing in MP terms. If they put out the new versions of evergreen characters/big 6 every four years, we'd almost never see a new figure. MP-11 was based on a mold that's 20 years old now, and that update to MP-11 is something like 15. That's more realistic, and also probably more sensible if we have any hope of the S1/S2 characters ever being finished off, or S3 characters showing up more.

It'd be kinda cool to see the coneheads done, but spaced out a bit more. Getting all three of the original trio in about 7 months, plus a relatively cheap Skids is a pretty massive punch to the wallet across a short time.
