What happened to May's figure king? It's June now and I haven't heard a peep about it, anyways, hopefully we start seeing the final colored prototype of Skyfire soon so we can that out of the way and see the next decepticon mp.

there was almost nothing in it re. Transformers

Autobase Aichi is usually the first to report on the TF related contents of Figure King (but never posts photos), you can check it out on their blog

Man, just enjoy the ride. I’m as excited as the next person about this line but the notion of “okay, what’s next?” seems like it doesn’t allow people to enjoy what we have on the way. Skyfire is at least a year away anything after that is probably longer.

Yeah sorry about that, I'm really excited for Skyfire as well but I think I went a bit off the rails there, I was just curious about what happened to May's figure king.

I dont know these large reveal to release windows leave quite a large gap. Hard to believe it will be almost a whole year for Starscream and Skids. I think its simply a matter of staying interested and all releases aren't equal, I have no doubt there are people more excited about Skyfire and Raiden than Starscream and Skids, who are more speed bumps inbetween.

I'm the weirdo who's more excited about Skids than I am about Skyfire and Raiden. (Not that I'm not excited about them too, it's just... realistic car vs made-up plane and train set.)

As someone who has no interest in Thundercracker, Skywarp, Skids, Skyfire or Raiden, I can kinda see where @Mung daal is coming from. Would love to see a triple changer, minibot or season 3 Decepticon, myself.

I have patience though, and am still super excited to see the upcoming figures revealed as I know how much other people are anticipating them!

Please Cyclonus and Blitzwing. The choice of Skyfire makes me feel we are so close to one if not both of them.

When is the next Figure King due for our Skyfire goodness?

Wasn't there just one out end of May ... or is it delayed for His Skyness? o_O

It was nothing Transformers related. Maybe n this month especially if we get a surprise twitter post again. TTS would have been this month so maybe Shouki or Raiden line art.

The trains are licensed. Just saying in case you didn’t know somehow.

I had a passing knowledge of Raiden when I went to school in Japan in the early 2000s. I at least was familiar enough to know when I got on a certain train that I thought ‘hey this is the red train in that Raiden set! So I looked it up when I got back to my dorm and compared the pic of the train and was blown away. I saw 5 of the 6 trains while there and it was nuts. Just unbelievable how cool that was.

I’m all for real cars too mate. Don’t get me wrong there. But these trains are going to be DOPE!

Also there’s a rumor saying they’ll be released simultaneously similarly to Skids and Reboost. One toy and one toon of each mold will be release together every 2-3 months. I’m expecting the toy one to be much more real world. Who knows? :)

I worded it badly, I meant Skyfire is a "made-up plane" and Raiden is a "train set." Trains just aren't on the radar over here. I find it cool they're doing them and licensing them and all that, but my personal preference is for cars.

Now this rumor I hadn't heard. What I still haven't heard confirmed is the scale of the trains. From the description they've released it sounds like they'll be too big to work with the majority of train sets most collectors will already have. So that's an interesting direction they went in.

I saw that somewhere too, they were going to basically be Skid price. I wonder if this is how they plan on promoting the Non-A tier characters.

Very far off question, but was there ever a rumor for them to do a victory Leo to combine with star saber?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe so? There was varying levels of speculation based on those unexplained connector-ish looking things on Star Saber that were never(?) explained, but I think that's as far as it went. I may be forgetting an interview though.

Yeah, KFC took advantage with their version, if I recall. Simba, I think he's called.

From what I heard the designer did some sketches for him and Ginrai but I'm not aware of any rumor about Victory Leo actually being released.

They’d have to rerelease starsaber anyways. The joints are in no way strong enough to support any more weight.

I never thought about that before, but now I wonder if that was actually one of the reasons why they didn't made Victory Leo.
