I think so. A lot of cars have air intakes on the hood. I don't think it would mater.

 

Two new BW and 2 new MPM molds versus 1 new G1 mold in 2020, Takara better be making 2021 d@mn special.

I know people want new molds, but the disappearance of MP-9, especially with Arcee's reveal, combined with the exception of 2018, we've gotten a commander class/convoy as a new mold:

Taking in factors like the release of Unicron and Arcee, I think we have a pretty good chance of seeing a new Rodimus as at least one of our releases.

 

I'd be totally down for a Galvatron, V2 Rodimus and V2 Magnus!

 

That would be so expensive 
I wonder if they would try to squeeze Rodimus and Galvatron in in the same year. One at the beginning and one at the end. Technically they released 43 and 44 in the same year, and pricewise they would be similar. I don't think they included Rodimus, Starscream or Grimlock on that last survey which could be a sign they're incoming too.

 

Man, I just thought, what if we got G1 and BW2 Galvatron in the same year? That’d be nuts. Of course I really want a classic Galvatron but that’d be insane.

 

Haha yeah I don't think they'd give us more than one of those in a single calendar year, but I'd gladly pick any one of them up! Good catch on the non-inclusion on the survey. Interesting!

 

Im hoping we see something in a few weeks with a Jan/Feb release, since they were short this year. I think if 52 does end up being G1 it will be a 2.0.

Would it best to just make it G1 specific?

 

If I would make a chart I think it would be best to first know a bit more about the division of the design time. Wether it’s G1 or not the same potentially large team of people may be working on all the projects at once, as far as we know. But I’d probably make the assumption that anything in masterpiece is all the same core group, so I’d factor in all of the toys being into the larger cluster.

 

Just bought 2 more Masterpieces.
