It could happen. They've already done it with MP-12, 14, 17, 29, and 36 with "+" versions of those.

 

You not seen the new pics? It’s a totally new mould coming. With this being revealed fully in two weeks I’d say there’s close to zero chance of a 10+ now. Gold will be the last hoorah for that mould.

 

Dinobot’s designer said in an interview that the stand would be used for future releases, so it’s likely Megatron will come with one.

 

I don't get it. Why would they announce a gold MP-10 and then follow immediately with a V3 Prime? I know HAstak loves to pump out OP, but this seems like overkill even for them.

 

Do you figure if there were to be more MP minibots, they would do something like they did with Spike in his armor with BBee? Some of the 3rd party Cliffjumpers are coming with a sled with ski's that can store all the accessories, but what about all the other minibots? Not that I think they will make any more minibots

My biggest (and pretty much only) hope for the new MP Prime is that we finally get a Masterpiece Crayola Convoy, since we'll likely never get one from the MP10 mold.

They probably mean they're going to reveal the new Prime's accessories and stuff. I'm not sure a new character would get the fine-print "additional reveals" treatment.

Doing Lio Convoy would give TT an excuse to produce the Burning Convoy deco of Optimus Primal sooner, to go with a Flash Lio Convoy.

 

Not sure where that rumor originated. The only thing I remember reading was that the Masterpiece would further expand to incorporate a "dead" line. Could totally be BWII, but could just as easily be something else.

 

The magazine hinted the next character is someone refereed himself as "watashi" and so far we can only recall Lio Convoy used such pronoun besides Primal.

 

Right, but it could simply be Primal being jealous off-page. The whole BW MPs entering a new phase could just be referring to the line now having the voice chip gimmick. Would love it if we had another reveal next month though!!

Hey, if it meant the AM original characters getting figures, I'd be for it.

Maybe include more of the human characters as accessories alongside a truckton of other accessories? they could include the official stand with characters who didn't have any gadgets, although frankly I'd say if the don't need to add anything then they shouldn't, just to keep the cost down.

 

Now that makes more sense, if the text can be interpreted that way. Fun though it may be to imagine MP Lio Convoy is around the corner, it doesn't make a lick of sense to announce him a couple weeks after Megatron.
