Meister, Mirage, CJ, Blaster or Hound would be more than acceptable replacements, in my not so humble opinion  

 

It sounds to me like (if it's true) Hasbro Asia has cancelled their release of Dinobot. That shouldn't affect Takara releasing him in Japan. It could (again, if true) affect online retailers who get their stock from Hasbro Asia.

And now I am off to join Devastator21.

 

There can be understandable excitement if Dinobot doesn't release on time, or that there are QC issues. Better now than after the release, I suppose.

 

Is it late December yet?

 

Realistically, it’ll be early-mid January before most of us get Sunstreaker.

Any yet-to-be-done season 1 or 2 character would do nicely there.

I'd like door wings on Jazz but if having the option affects his fluidity of transformation, posability or cartoon accuracy then I'd rather not have them.

Having said that, the Ricochet/Stepper repaint will probably want to have door wings, so it's easier to make it optional rather than doing any retooling for an obscure toy/comic repaint.


There is the 3rd option that he won't have any doors at all...

 

I think Amazon Japan is listing it as in stock, but I haven't heard of anyone getting theirs yet. It's out now in Asia, so I'd expect orders to start coming in this week.

MP10B should be shipping at pretty much the same time as Sunstreaker.

 

Maybe this isn’t the best place to ask this, but what’s the difference between the MPM line and the Studio Series? Seems like one or the other is irrelevant, since they both are billed as being screen-accurate representations of the movie figures. Just something else to take up factory time rather than churning out other stuff (like BW and G1 MPs).

 

It may well just be a slightly more cost-effective way for Hasbro to tackle the characters that they don't intend to do MPMs of. Hasbro is very focused on the idea of the toy market being explicitly aimed at kids, and while the MPMs were successful, it's entirely possible that they got feedback from customers that they were too complex or expensive to justify buying them for little Timmy.

So wait... if you're shipping MP-10B with MP-39, which isn't coming out for a couple of weeks yet, why are you concerned with the repaint? It won't ship until Sunstreaker is shipping anyway since you've bundled them.
