From that list, I would love to have Arcee. I think she'll be amazing. But that's who I'd want the most. The one I think actually will be next is Dinobot, and if not him, Hound.

I think it may have to do with making smaller characters first before they make large ones.I mean they dont wanna make a bunch of in scale blackouts or megatrons only for people not to buy them. I mean the movies are quite infamous.

oh and the movie and rotf megs dont may not really look that much like transformers characters.

Don't want to get anyone's hopes up but China Toy Expo is on from 18-20 October. Think it's more focused on younger kids so probably best not to expect shit for MPs.

Otherwise there's Winter Wonder Festival on Febuary 20th 2018.

In the meantime think I might try and give this thread a wider berth than usual. This dry spell for news is a bit of a drag, and there's only so many posts of 'it's been so long something has to be coming' that I can take. Might actually be nice to see this thread slide to page 3 and beyond for a little while. Think I'll focus on the MP appreciation thread and enjoying what we actually have instead!

If Takara is worried about the G1 generation aging out of MP, and starting to worry about retirement rather than shelling out for plastic reminders of their childhoods, they sure don't show it. They may be banking on the fact that younger TF fans dig G1 too, so there may still be a market for G1 MPs a decade from now. But it goes back to the discussion of MP is just one small slice of Takara's larger pie. If the G1 MP train ends, then oh well, Takara has MPs for other generations, as well as mainline toys and non-TF stuff, to fall back on. And they won't give a damn that are collections aren't complete or they didn't make so-and-so. 3Ps that specialize in MP-scale figures (Fans Toys, X-Transbots, etc.) can cater to our whims because that's all they do. And they're taking full advantage.

Yep, keep collectors on the hook. People on this thread have mentioned how they bought Optimus Primal and Cheetor or the MPMs just because there was nothing to buy on the G1 side. The trouble comes when people get tired of waiting and either quit and consider their collection complete, or go 3P.

Yeah, I'll believe minibots when I see them. I'm sure the designers want to make everybody, doesn't mean everybody is going to get made. I think we all got a little excited when that interview came out. But time will tell.

Movie Ironhide. He Has a really sick truck mode and none of the toys got his cannons right.
Actually if they do do Ironhide I want them to make the guns store on the sides of the truck or the back to homage the original voyager and legends figure.

Also, please release him with Blackout or Megatron.

it would also be cool to see him come with brawls head to homage the prime 1 statue.Also the guns he used against the dreads,the one on the leader figure and his knife.
