Do you think they would try and license the vehicles or stray just far enough from real designs in order to avoid any licensing issues?
There is a Porsche, Ferrari & Tyrrell.
We haven't seen TT use any of those licenses before.

I haven't bought MP-14+, and I try to get pretty much every MP release. Just didn't think it was essential. Especially since it failed at being toon-accurate by not re-tooling to include the door wings.

Yeah, double-dipping on a potential G1 and G2 MP Devastator would be daunting. And I love the G2 color scheme. I'd love a G2 version of CW Devastator (I'm probably gonna have to keep waiting on that, sadly).

I was looking on TFWiki, and G2 Devastator wasn't even released in Japan (in fact, none of the G1-era molds were included in Japan's version of G2). Of course, that didn't stop them from releasing G2 Sideswipe and Bumblebee.

 

Actually, NOTHING of G2 was released in Japan.

They were busy with their japanese continuity (headmasters/masterforce/victory/zone,etc)

Does anyone have a DeLorean with a flux capacitor that I could use for a day or two? I'd really like to know which G1 characters we're getting over the course of the next year or so. I'd also like to know the winning Powerball numbers over the next year, so I can retire and build my dream house with a custom built, Cybertron inspired collection room (complete with atmosphere control, special lighting, all types of disaster proofing and high tech locks).
I promise to return the DeLorean in pristine condition  

 

Why would you need it for a day or two? You can return to the exact time you left.

 

Sunstreaker is the weakest of the third party carbots imo so I'd be happy with that.

 

If my mind doesn't fail me like sometimes, that's what i understood from TFWiki.

 

Takara did release their own G2 line.

Altho It did not have the same amount of repaints as the Hasbro one

 

So many repaint options with none in sight. Those TT factories are full at the moment. I'd buy all of these;

Besides Artfire I don't think we've had a G1 diaclone/variant repaint since MP-25 Tracks was used for Road Rage and Loudpedal.

Hmm. I feel like he is the strongest, personally. I would much rather see Jazz (number one want), Mirage or even Hound. And I feel like we're spoiled for choice regarding Trailbreaker and Hoist, and would rather Takara just come out with their version to make the decision easier on me.  

 

Not a huge sacrifice‽ Guess you weren't on these boards when the figure was announced... only the Ultra Magnus Butt Flap Wars have seen anything approaching the levels of angst, despair and general wailing that greeted the appearance of those two small patches of red.

 

Tyrrell doesn't exist any more; I imagine the rights to that design are extremely murky, and reside somewhere in between Honda, Mercedes and British American Tobacco. It's possible even their own lawyers don't know.

 

If that DeLorean turns out to be Swindler, we'll have a good indication that really nothing is off the table in the future

 

I think it's probably completely unlikely at this point and would cost a small, hell, large fortune as an exclusive, but I'm totally hoping on a + version of Soundwave in more vibrant, non-metallic colours.

Wheeljack too, although I think he's more likely. I really wish they'd started with Wheeljack, actually. He's way more popular than Red Alert.

 

Fwiw xtb Hoist is damn good. I'd say best figure they've done yet easily.

 

What about Bluestreak? MP-18 is almost unrecognisable in the colours Hasui went with.
