Well, Omega Supreme wasn't REALLY a citybot, more of a defensive fortress. Like a frontier base or something. I know with mass-shifting nothing is SET, but, to me, of COURSE he'd be smaller than Metroplex/Trypticon. By a huge margin. Omega Supreme is MUCH larger than the rest of the Ark Autobots but shouldn't be like, ridiculously off scale from then like Metroplex would be.

If we get MP city bots (AND WHY SHOULDN'T WE, WE'RE ALL GOOD PEOPLE), the scale would HAVE to be different. It'd be so different.

From the earlier pic of the head/chest/abdomen, I thought this looked good and could even be a TT design.

After seeing the whole thing, it's not TT no way. If it is a filter-photo of an actual toy, it's a 3P thing. Arturo posted this so ... anyway, deffo not TT. Not for me either, after seeing that lower half.

I think they probably had a good idea of who was going to win (or would have just rigged the results) and may have just been gauging interest in general. Considering it's crappy showing (didn't it come in last?), all the more reason huge figures will VERY likely never happen in the MP line. Between cost, risk, and seemingly little interest...sorry.

 

I don't think we'll ever see a MP Omega Supreme. It would be too big and the MP line is all about cartoon scale. In the cartoon, OS is a bit larger than Devastator, so realistically, we'd have a better chance of seeing a CW or TR-scaled Omega than an MP.

If the detailing on the front of the legs was grey or silver, it'd be spot on.

 

I would laugh so fucking hard if these Jazz pics turn out to be an old Hasui design. The back tracking would be delicious.

Someone with 3D skills is having fun trolling us.   Isn't that a render of the KO MP-10, the one with the big arm gaps? I still highly doubt that is anything to do with TT, although it does look slightly better from that angle. He still has a weirdly elongated head.

Ok, I'm still taking this Jazz business with a dump truck's worth of salt here...but after the Megs leak, ohmygoodness would this be a hilarious way to find out that yes, Jazz is on the way after all. At least with Megs, I can be a little surprised things like that don't happen more often (provided everything turns out legit in the end). This as more than someone's flight of fancy would be, well, novel, for sure.

As for the little die-cast figures, I'd love for them to mean something more than just "replacements for the coins," but for now I doubt it. I do like the idea of eventually getting BW die-cast figures that'd be sized up to the G1 MPs per the cartoon.

Someone in the +Alert News forum thread mentioned that the + release is getting a coin after all? I liked the coins so if that proves true I'll appreciate getting one more, but it still seems weird to randomly bring it back for one redeco but not for Ramjet.

 

I thought it was a render too but I'm told it's an actual product and the way it's going I don't think this will be the last pic. Maybe someone got hold of an old TT design and 'ko'd' it? Same could be said of that Megatron leak, which is why TT have said nothing. At this point it could really be anything, it's a conspiracy theorists wet dream.

 

*Interesting*. Well, so far I prefer the Maketoys design, but whether TT or 3P, this looks pretty interesting too. I'd certainly love an MP Jazz, either way...

 

I posted on this Arturo's FB to either man up or knock it off. This is getting redundant.

 

I don't have any insider info, but I will say none of the other renders on his FB page have that look.

- Nothing TT does anymore surprises me. Maybe this is how they've decided to toy with us about Jazz.
- If it really is TT, maybe Hasui's back on the line.
- Maybe TigerBlade's right, and this is an early Hasui design that got knocked off.
- Maybe it's 3rd party and someone learned how to nail Hasui's look.
- Maybe Arturo really stepped up his rendering game.

Regardless, if this turns out to be real - it's a damn good Jazz!
