Congrats! I ordered mine back in August and it shows that it should ship this week - no tracking number yet, but I’m hopeful!
And that’s just the surviving roster from the end of DDP’s run IIRC. Now some of those make for good modern designs in the Classified line(hopefully)
What you have there is actually the 1983 swivel-arm version of COBRA aka Cobra Soldier; this version was issued every year from 83 to 85. From the packaging, yours looks to be a 1984 release. One of the most sought after figures, as it is the quintessential "army builder". Collectors pay good money for loose ones in good condition. For a sealed sample I can't give you an accurate estimate, but I would guess it's in the hundreds of dollars. A very cool item to possess in any event! EDIT: here is the entry from Mark Bellomo's guide including his estimated market value:
HA! $3.99 oh man I miss those days. Even with all the bends you could probably get a descent amount. The only knock I'd say is the figure itself looks a bit sun damaged. Still probably could get $100+ for it. A MOSC is a MOSC.
Good luck! I had nearly given up, but it seems like a lot of people have started getting shipping notices from Amazon, lately. Hopefully you’ll get one soon.
Got my Demro Wasp for Beach Head and a MAC-10 for Snake Eyes, from Mark2Design: Yeah, I know, it’s not an Uzi, but it still beats the crap weapons that the standard release Snake Eyes came with.
They look good. But technically I think a push broom and dustpan would be better than what Snake Eyes actually came with
I really like SE's load out. The main gun is reminiscent of an uzi but with a bit more scifi to it. I'm not into the realistic parts of GI Joe; I'm here for the crazy stuff!
