Alright guys, I’m about to go check the mail, and if there’s not a case of GIJoes in there along with a handwritten apology from Richard Hasbro I’m going to drive my car into the Ohio River.

I do hope they do a single release of Baroness without the bike though. Motorcycles are one of those things that instantly communicate "cool!" to kids, like swords and sunglasses. If you have all three, a ninja will flip out and kill you for being too cool.

Hmmm, from what I can tell, Hasbro seems to be tackling one franchise a day.

Hey I’m dealing with stuff right now but wanted to chime in real quick. Take a deep breath. You’ll probably be tired of seeing the Joes sometime soon. Keep in mind the 2 major players Walmart & Target have not done their Fall toy resets yet. My local Wally is doing theirs in 2 weeks. Target is also a few weeks out. The side display of Joes was sent out to give them a spot until they have a home on the new planogram. Other big stores like Meijer haven’t. Walgreens probably isn’t setting theirs until late Aug. My local comic shops have cases steady since May with a $2-3 mark up so that means anyone who gets stuff through Diamond probably has access to order. So you haven’t seen the last of wave 1 Joes since they only were supposed to officially hit retail 7/1. Check on Targets that have date of 7/26 for regular and 8/14 for exclusives. I just got my Joes about 2 weeks ago.

I think the local WalMart resets about once every two years or so. Not kidding.

Some of these at least have hit. I saw a shark from this line yesterday at one of my local walmarts. No sign of the other figures though. I think the hardest one to get will be the cygor(?). I wasnt a huge spawn fan I guess when that character was about so I dont remember it but it seems to be the one most are talking about.

Ok, things seem to be getting a little weird, in here, so here's some info from elsewhere: Dorkside posts pretty regularly, over on Fwoosh. According to them, stores ordered way more Classified product than Hasbro anticipated, so it's been pretty heavily allocated. Combine that with recent world events, and you have the makings of a TEMPORARY shortage. Apparently, they're just playing catch-up, at the moment, which is why some preorders are pushed back to November. Yeah, it sucks, but it sounds like there will be plenty for everyone, soon enough.

Yesterday's Target fiasco was a bummer, but I'm sure it'll work out.

That’s actually good news, back in the 25th days stores would just order 1 case at a time.

Why are you dudes discussing Spawn/McFarlane beasts in the G.I.Joe Thread?

In regards to that ordering more than anticipated, probably because G.I.Joe hasn't been at retail for a while and retailers realize how big of a cash cow they passed up by driving it out of retail space. Or maybe they realized that a new six inch scaled line could pick-up crazily. New generation coming into income right when a new batch of films is set to release.

    The Main Man.

At import prices I won't be getting everything, but it's nice to see this finally happen.

You mean Renegades Serpentor? I mean that was what he had in Renegades, right, a giant cobra named Serpentor created by Mindbender or something. I need to re-watch that series again.

Speaking of Snake Eyes, can anybody get his knife to go fully into the sheath? When I opened mine it wouldn't slid in either way all the way down, but promo shots from Hasbro show that that's the knife which is meant to fully slide into his sheath.

Mine doesn't and that seems to be a common problem people are having with Snake-Eyes... that said one of Scarlett's knives fits right into the sheath no problem and SE's knife can go in her sheath. So if you have both just switch their knives. Makes me wonder if there wasn't a screw up at the factory somehow.
