Found the first wave at two Walmart’s today and picked up the entire wave. Really excellent figures overall. Roadblock’s joints are a bit loose and I don’t like his oversized vest, but the rest are all excellent.
Pleasantly surprised to find no looseness with snake eyes waist and no problem with the knife sheath like others have been finding.

When I said “less is more” when it came to Classified deco, this is a great example. The mold has good details and more subtle deco makes for a more cohesive look IMO. Even the face looks better through paint alone.

Not sure if it’s part of a reset but some Walmart’s are getting displays at the end of their aisles, right before the endcaps for GI Joe Classified.

I think I prefer duke as is, but that Scarlett is excellent. Nice to see people starting to customise these too!

Yep, I’m in Virginia. They weren’t on the shelf, it was a small end cap decorated with the gijoe logo. I bet they’ll start showing up a lot more soon

Those look great. This just further convinces me these molds have incredibly high repaint potential. It also makes me 100% sure I am painting the armor-plates olive-drab on Duke and Roadblock.

I can't get Snake Eyes knife all the way in the holder, and I wind up cutting straight through it trying to bore out a hole. Just my luck.

Is that a vintage figure or a reissue?

Vintage. From ‘91, I believe. I sold almost a full set of those, last year. I had all of them except #3, Roadblock (which is worth a ton if you have that one because they took it off the market for having a spring fired weapon that fired too far). That wave was all pretty cool. I believe it was the last wave, that had the normal size cardbacks too, before they went to the Battle Corps packaging.

Sweet. I know some type of reissues are coming out sometime soon...was hoping that might be a leaked pic of one. I'd be interested in getting a couple figures with the vintage 80's articulation.

I might be open to them if the forearms and lower legs are molded in ABS instead of PVC, unlike the comic pack o-ring ARAH figures from the mid-2000’s. Don’t want to see hands or feet split apart just from holding a weapon or putting them on a stand. Also if the o-ring(if used) is made from material that is built to last.

Honestly I’d prefer if the torso was just retooled with a ball joint and socket instead of using an o-ring. Same range of motion, no worry for rubber breaking down years later.
