Having a great Storm Shadow to go with their Snake Eyes is practically a requirement at this point. I really hope Hasbro knocks it out of the park.

Storm shadow is the easiest character to make, white ninja suit, black belt, black shash, silver throwing stars, red Cobra insignia on right side of the chest. Figure cones with two swords, bow, backpack/quiver with arrows, and throw in some nunchucks. Bonus accessories pair of sais. Super bonus accessory, Cobra Claw. Anyone know which other Cobra vehicles Storm shadow piloted (cartoon and comic)? And do not forget to include Excalibur.

All of this would be cool. Although not specific to him, Storm Shadow has flown a Trouble Bubble several times. That would be a cool vehicle to do for this line that could stay in scale at a reasonable price.

    Not feeling this one.
    Too many colors.
The shoulder pad looks like it sporting the Russian star.
Hard to take her seriously in action poses when she's smiling like a school girl.

That was my point to you on Firefly. Both him and StormShadow are critical on the headsculpt. The entire success of the look is dependent on a solid eye sculpt. Storm Shadow has one of the easiest costumes ever and you can modernize him like crazy with the V2 version but the whole thing is dependent on his eyes. It’s the character.

Disagree, love Scarlet in this line. Most character she’s had as a toy.

Storm Shadow NEEDS to be able to hold his bow in a decent "drawing" pose, something that most Green Arrow and Hawkeye figures can't even do.

You're absolutely right but KISS(Keep It Simple Stupid) hasn't always been followed when a design team feels the need to modernize a design. Really hoping the Classified Storm Shadow looks bad ass. Plenty of great designs from the past to pull from with a few misses along the way.
    Definitely.

Zartan too when they get to him.

Largely agree, I doubt I'll like it more when I see it in person, face reminds me of someone trying to win a smiling stare down contest while trying to size someone up. I already knew going in that I wasn't going to be a completist with this line, so Scarlett isn't a figure I plan on buying.

Still better than the “Duke, Snake Eyes, whichever of you can get up behind me first can have this” design of this perversion.

True. I don't dislike the Scarlett design from ARAH as I understand the fact that during the era, that kind of aesthetic was the norm. I also don't have a problem with the general goofiness of ARAH character designs with themes like Bazooka's football player look for the same reason. However, put those same designs on contemporary versions of the characters, that's when I take pause.

I'm just glad that Classified Scarlett doesn't sport high heels or platform shoes. I hate that on toys of characters who are supposed to be combatants.

This is from the era where things started to jump the shark but this one was cool backpack aside. This is the Bludd I want to see in the Classified line:
    Major Bludd (v2)

I knew nothing of Joes post ‘87, but in ‘95 I remember stopping at a convenient mart in Guam on the way home from a night out and seeing that figure in a rack by the register and thinking “they still make G.I. Joes?”

His filecard is hilarious too, guy stole from Cobra just to have new stuff. He's from right before the gimmicks went directly into the figures(which made things worse).

It does say a lot when a toyline is able to come back from the dead often. ARAH came back in 96 to TRU, then again in 97, then widespread in 2000, then with a complete relaunch in 2002, then back as a 4" series in 2007, et al. Between those years we also saw the 12" and Sigma 6 lines plus movie lines later. I've got faith in the brand, just wish it stayed instead of going in and out at retail.

The eyes for the Fortnite figure is too cartoony...

If the aesthetics are as detailed as Snake-Eyes, I’m all for it! :)
