That’s lame the female molds, going by Scarlett, seem to have the same limited articulation that ML female molds have.

Should have a pretty nice little Joe squad on my shelf in a few months. Everyone is lamenting the updates I am just happy everyone isn’t in army pants and the exact same black body armor like the movie crap. You can’t even tell Duke from Flint or a pit trooper and it looks boring as hell on a shelf together.

I saw some guy on Hisstank saying he wouldn’t even know that the figure is Roadblock and I laughed out loud. Yeah, okay.

Yep, we are on the same page. I am fine with the updates, reminds me a bit of Pursuit of Cobra. I did see some Hisstank posts and some people are not happy. Lol

I guess outside of Roadblock, the only person I could see him being is Heavy Duty, but the 1986 vest should be a dead giveaway. I do think the face looks off, or perhaps it’s the different facial hair. That said, people and hair styles change, so it’s no big deal.

I'm super stoked. I haven't really collected GI Joes much so this is a great place for me to start. Plus, I know that most of the people who say they don't like them will probably buy them anyway when they're released so I'm not worried about this line doing poorly.

If Duke has a machine gun, Snake Eyes has and uzi and various swords, and Scarlet has knives, why does Roadblock come with a stupid unrealistic gun, instead of a machine gun.

I’m in the same boat. I was gonna go all out but held back on getting in because I knew these were coming, and I don’t regret it at all. I love Marvel Legends and I love these new designs. They have just the perfect blend of modern realism and classic design.

Roadblock’s gun aside if these were movie figures and Hasbro released a movie with characters this close to the original designs everyone would be freaking out praising them. These designs are actually closer to the originals outside of the 25th anniversary stuff. Valor vs Venom, Sigma 6 every other Joe line outside of the 25th was a bigger departure than this.

I'm liking the look of Duke and SE, some design and colour choices have me luke warm on the other two.

GI Joe died a death here after the RofC line tanked, and we didn't get a sniff of the anniversary lines, so I'm hoping this might be a line that gets rolled out in Europe. The success of the Fortnite figures makes that more likely you would feel.

Looks like Roadblock has a Lion tattoo on his left upper-arm.

I agree. Plus they can always do different versions of the same characters too.

They indeed will. Though I’d like to get as many figures out as possible before they start rehashing the same characters.

He’s telling the truth. It could very well be Double Blast. I just hope when they make Torpedo he doesn’t look like Wet Down.

Tomax and Xamot better be included. I am sick of always missing out on them. 2001 TRAH anniversary figures, 2007/8 25th comic two-pack and all the con exclusive versions. Just give me my damn crimson twins already.

I would have preferred a version 1 of the figure, but I think they did a pretty solid update of v2 roadblock.

I'm surprised they didn't go all the way and just took inspiration from the vest. I liked the v2 figure.
