So an old coworker was home for the holidays, and dug out his whole Joe collection and asked me if I wanted them. Was like three bags worth, and even if I had them all, now that I have a kid, doubles are never a bad thing. So a week ago he stopped by and unleashed this upon me, including one bag of "broken" figures, but all they really needed was new o-rings. After a few days worth and a lot of time on yojoe.com, I got them all matched up. The half on the left were ones I didn't already have
If anyone needs either the Ultimate Duke or Ultimate Storm Shadow hit me up. Still got extras of both MOC.
Slim pickings but YES!!!!! Way to go TRU! G.I.Joe 50th Anniversary Official Product Images Now Available! - GI Joe News
Ugh, what possessed them to re re release Blowtorch. Should have put dialtone in there instead. But i guess they're better than nothing and they make transformers 30th complainers look overly spoiled lol. Yeah for getting a proper leatherneck at least.
At least we are getting something. With them being TRU exclusives I fear they will be hard to come by for someone like me who doesn't live near one, that is unless you are online at the right time. I do wish the Night-Viper was green since most of the other old mold figures are largely unchanged from previous releases, B.A.T. and Viper excluded, but since they aren't final product images they could look a lot different. H.E.A.T.-Viper, Leather Neck, Cobra Wolf, Destro, and Lady Jaye look nice. Too bad the better looking Flint is a con exclusive but no big deal there. Let's just hope availability isn't an issue with them.
I can see buying. Lj Baroness Cobra Soldier Cobra Viper Beach Head Leatherneck Mainframe Destro. I have not bought in Joe stuff in a loooong time.
I'm extremely pleased to see that Leatherneck concept-vault figure will (presumably) be making it to shelves. He was one of my favorite figures as a kid, and there hasn't been a good modern version of him yet (even with three attempts). I'm excited about the Wolf, as well. I had been very close to picking up a vintage version recently; I'm glad I didn't!
