I am so in for at least 3. If they go on sale, more! A Trouble Bubble was my first Cobra vehicle, so needed. But, I hate there is no sky mine/auto-pilot unit. Maybe that will be sold in a different equipment set later.

Yawn... I really wanted "green shirts" for my HISS fodder. I can easily pass and probably will.

I actually like the valaverse vest better and lose the shoulder pads. The rest hasbro looks superior

The VV figures don't look bad but for me anyway, I really didn't care about 6" military figures. I'm in Classified for pure nostalgia and the VV figures don't hold any of that for me. I never really cared about Steel Brigade one way or the other. But I do think this two pack looks pretty damn good.

Not sure why you feel the need to preemptively throw shade at fellow collectors. That's an odd way to respond to a great reveal. If you have a beef with Vala or his toys... this isn't the place.

Not ashamed to say that I like both. The hasbro one is certainly more ARAH overall, but if you do a leg swap with Condor, the Vala version would have the basic SB colors all correct, just a bit of modernized look about them. Heck, even the original SB had multiple variants made out of existing molds, so there is no way for any figure to be 100% accurate to them all.

My collection has room for both, and I see no reason for anyone to pick a side or try to insult fans of either figure. It's not a contest. There are only winners here... namely the fans of Joe and military toys.

I wonder if Duke arms will fit on those shoulders?

These reveals are awesome I will have to take the shoulder pads off the Steel Brigade though.

    I want a PP Tele-Viper too

I personally love the heavy armor look in the SB figures. My beef is more of the single jointed female elbows, haha. I really do hope they get the deep cuts if they can't get double jointed.

I really do miss the rolled sleeves from the o.g. version.
If they do that, which would be cool, I really hope it's done in the same skin colorway as the original '80s version. They would sell extras that way for folks who want the arms to turn some of their regular version Classified TeleVipers into o.g. ones.

It looks to me like both of these molds are reuse.

Female SC is Scarlett (movie) torso and arms on Lady Jaye lower body. Male Steel Corps is Stalker upper body and Breaker's lower body. Only new parts are the overlays, accessories, and heads.

If any of you are already members of HISS Tank, they've kicked off their annual tournament of most wanted figures this morning: G.I. Joe Classified March Madness 2023 Official Nomination Thread - HissTank.com

Not that Hasbro must honor the results, but it is a big poll of what fans want that Hasbro is likely well aware of. It was fun last year if I didn't agree with the winner. Too many good figures for any one to be a clear-cut favorite.
And it keeps this thread from getting filled with wish lists.

I get it. As I said I hope that since these are just renders that perhaps they can also go back and adjust some things. I can't imagine they're too far gone in the design process for that.

For Green Shirts, I'm probably just gonna grab a few Grunts and do some head swaps

Weren't the original Steel Brigade figures reused parts as well? Least it's appropriate for these.

After handling it, it’s hard to go back to the previous ones. It’s the best one by far. There’s just a few things done better on the older versions but definitely not enough for me to want them over this. Still keeping my 2011-15 versions though.
