Steel Brigade! Countdown for the gold helmet version begins now? Would love it if they include a file sheet to fill out with it, or one to customise online and print out! Also gonna need a patch or sticker to feel truly complete.
I feel like the announcement of the Steel Corps now makes Vala's Action Force line pretty redundant for G.I. Joe collectors. Hasbro has now done the 2 figures/characters he did that came right out of Joe and Hasbro has arguably done them better.
Eh, I dunno, I see a bunch of people saying they still like the VV version better. Not sure why tbh, this one looks more like the original. Hoping to see anything from Cobra La announced this year just to know that they're open to doing those figures. I'd like a Scrap Iron without all the crap that'll push the pricetag up. So an S. Iron, I suppose.
The first thing I thought was they’re doing Valaverse figures now…haha. But, I can’t fault Vala’s offerings much, really. If anything, they blend really well with the Joes. They can stand right next to these guys and provide additional variety to the shelf.
Don't get me wrong, I like the design of the Valaverse ones overall, but these are definitely a win over those in my opinion.
Wow okay I generally didn't care for Scrap Iron but he's amazing here. Well, maybe it's just the drone LOL. Steel Brigade however...holy fuck! EDIT: Irritates that it looks like female elbows are single jointed? Can we just stop that please Hasbro?

Her elbows look like they might be single jointed. Maybe they’re using that “deep cut” type of joint that will give her some extra range, though. Like some of the SW Black Series figures use.
I really like that Hasbro seems to be giving us new torsos with these Steel Corps figures rather than just re-using Duke (or Airborne) like they did in the 80's. At least new "wraps" around the torsos.
Vala’s version looked okay but if no one told me that they were Steel Brigade troopers, that’s not who I’d throw think they’d be at 1st glance. I prefer the new ones from Hasbro, more accurate and importantly to me, instantly recognizable regardless of any deviations from the original design that are present. I especially like the extra parts that can be swapped around for different looks.
I can't help but think that they're also going to throw up these bodies as part of Selfie Series. They'd be insane not to considering how the Steel Brigade came to be.
Man, Hasbro is straight killing it with these reveals.... I'm going to need 3 of each sets. Anyone want 2 more chick Steel Brigades? I'm only going to keep one out of the 3....
Gonna need a couple of them Trouble Bubbles, they made an awesome army builder out of that set. The black Tele-viper's head is a mirror of the white guy's, that's one way to do it, I guess. Pleaaaase don't be too expensive.
