He was a medic in the 101st Airborne/326th Medical Company during WWII. Eating mud was probably the least of his worries, now that I think about it!
They are made from a really solid resin. You may have issues with some of the smaller details if you manhandle them with a lot of force, but I haven't had any issues with anything breaking from normal handling and I haven't dropped anything from any significant distance. Instead of the Ma Deuce load out I went with the "Viper Heavy" GAU-19 and painted the grey parts NATO green. I'm sure you can be confident in anything you choose from Gridiron Studios. Their products are solid.
